Welcome to "Tales from Tuscany"!
We are Marisa and David, Australian expats now living part-time in Chianni Tuscany.
During the Global Pandemic, we decided to buy our Italian dream home, sight unseen and with no prior knowledge of the area.
This is our journey and we are taking you along with us!
TODAY'S VLOG...
WELL...today is exceptional in every way!
I say this because I don't think I've ever stayed in such a magical environment and I've stayed in hundreds. of places around the world...but this is "special"
Not only are we visiting the renowned Val D'Orcia and heritage listed, Crete Senesi but we spend the night in the remains of a 12th century castle where a pope once resided.
Oh my goodness... It was like spending a night in the most beautiful dream and you definitely don't want to wake up!
We hope you love it and feel as relaxed as we did whilst watching!

As a traveller, I've experienced some wonderful places during my life but I can honestly say, as an overall experience, this is one of the loveliest places I've ever been to and we just had to share. It's not because of the "luxury" factor but because of the "feeling" that you are overcome by the minute you arrive there! The most peaceful, gentle, serene, warm and exquisitely beautiful surrounds that embrace you, body and soul. This place made our souls happy! We truly hope you enjoy are little journey into this special part of Italy and feel relaxed afterwards! 🥰😍🤗😘💖PS ...we called this our "honeymoon night before the wedding!" 💞💕💞
