@@rowandowland1391 oh that’s wonderful Rowan! Honestly we couldn’t be more blessed here as everything is organic on our area. The entire commune of Chianni is basically organic and our shops supply zero km foods! Our baker grows organic grain and make their breads from it so even that is amazing! I eat only locally grown and ex even the poultry and meat is from neighbouring farms! It’s a foodie paradise! The vineyards are also mostly organic! The painkillers and stress have played havoc with me this year but now that I’m not taking them and the treatments are working, I feel I’m back on track again! I never stopped taking my high quality supplements as well to boost myself! It’s great to hear others that do the same. Good on you both! Love it! Thank you so much for watching tonight 🥰♥️😍🇮🇹💋

@@talesfromtuscany It sounds wonderful. We need to visit your area sometime. It must feel strange returning to Sydney and living in two different worlds. My brother does it as well. We used to travel from Melbourne over here to Italy every 6 months for 8 weeks at a time before moving here permanently and it always felt a little strange heading back to Australia. We don't have any plans to return to Australia but I guess we may some day. Best wishes Maria e Rowan

​​@@talesfromtuscany Dear Marisa, I wrote you an answer this morning, but failed (?). Yes, "listed" means they are still allowed, but with stricter laws (and not realy welcome): duty to wear a muzzle and be always on a leash in all public places 😢; and the owner has to pay a higher tax per year for the dog. ALL persons which will/have a dog, have to visit a course "how to handle a dog, ..." (I visited a 1st-medical-helping course for dogs too - I think that's a good idea). We had some dog attacks in the last years against children and runners, thats why a lot of people act hysteric, when they see a listed or greater, or a black (🙈) dog. All breeds of Steffs, Bullies are on this list, Rottweiler also; there is a longer list; they think about to set the German Shepard too 🤦🏼‍♀️. Not the dog is the problem, but the socialization since a newborn, and the owner ("The problem is always on the other side of the leash"). The only dog which bites me was a little Dachshund from a near friend, the dog knews me, first friendly, then I had a bloody knee. For me my dogs always were loved family members, almost with me (as self-employed it is easyer of course), also on vacation all over Europe. My last dog (mum: Bernese Mountain Dog/paps: Golden Retriever) was a friendly and intelligent cuddler, but an attentive protector too (that made me very proud); he died some years ago, 13+ years old in my arms; I am still crying thinking of him and our adventures. I love the mixed ones, they have less medical issues and are - most of the time - smarter. My next 4-leg-family member will come from a shelter - when I have left the big city. I am a huge fan and a supporter of TAKIS SHELTER (on fb, youtube, ...), from the south in Crete - if you want to take a look on his channel. Hello Marissa, I enjoy watching your videos and I extend my warm wishes to you and your husband David in Italy. I’m somewhat baffled myself over the correct pronunciation hearing your response. If you compare Chianni to Chianti, for example, to be consistent, they both should be pronounced alike. You don’t use a soft “chi”like church with Chianti but, of course, it’s pronounced with a hard “key” sound. The same would apply to Chianni since they use the same spelling at the beginning. The consonant “h” after c results in a hard “key” sound. I, however, don’t by any means declare myself an expert and the first one to correct your Italian pronunciation is, of course, a native Italian!😂Let the mayor of Chianni decide this issue! Ask he or she, what is the correct pronunciation of Chianni? And please let me know. All the best! I wish I was there with the both of you. My nickname is Gus and I am from the states. Cheers! ❤

I’ve spoken Italian since I was a child so I’m totally confused about your comments. I know how to say Chianni and the mayor and I speak often, so he knows I say it correctly too. I’m sorry about the confusion on this discussion. I thought I heard you use the soft chi sound at the beginning of your video. I went back and at this point you did pronounce the name of the town but I’m not sure what town you were referring to at this point. I thought I heard you pronounce Chianni with a soft chi, but may well have been absolutely incorrect. My sincere apologies if I misinterpreted your pronunciation of Chianni. It’s somewhat basic beginner Italian so I didn’t mean to make light of your Italian pronunciation or language skills. 😊
