Hello im from nyc. i bought a car fom new jersey dealer and they told me that they are going to mail me the title in 2 weeks, is one month and I didn't recive the title. I went back to the dealership and they told me that they already transfer the title to ny dmv and that I have to wait till ny dmv mail me the title. Is this true or the dealership is lying to me. Can nj dealership trasnfer the title to a ny dmv??
I’m trading my car in, and my dad’s name is on the title. So I think my dad would sign where it says “seller sign here” and where it says buyer’s name, I would write the name of the dealership
