I like your Go-pro drone post to show how much you edge to a slider/transfer. I was always hitting them straight on, wouldn’t make all way across half the time. Started edging before obstacles after seeing how much you do it and it made huge difference to stay on and rotate even.
I learned transfers lately on my own and I’m delighted to see I basically got the technique right. Just one thing, my very first transfer toeside was super scary as I landed 50-50 and the rail is actually a bit higher than the one you get in the video so you have to get a nice pop. Also, something that I figured out helps a lot if I’m too short on the tension and get pulled back before the end of the air time: switch! I just switch in the air and it allows me to land a sick « wtf-you’re-doing-dude » switch trick, and I love it! :D
Sometimes I sort of ollie off the face of the jump, but only if I need the extra pop. Normally I just jump, with good timing you should get plenty of pop.
May you do a tutorial where you teach us how to raley 🐳 and of teach us like beginner tips like how to switch from right to left with or left to right cause I’m having trouble being steady with going left cause I’m right handed 😉sorry I’m the worst at explaining things 🥴
@@jboneill I guess u also need to do some work with the bar at hip level to give it a spin too? being able to do 360 Ollie on flat water could be transferable to the 270 transfer i think
Shit I thought this is a video on how to transfer jobs my bad! 😁 I think this might help my transfers a bit better and not to taco cheers mate 👍🏻🤟🏻🤟🏻✌🏻
I've been getting pretty consistent height off the transfer box. Now I'm going to take it to the rail. Not sure why it's so scary, guess it's like everything else, just have to commit and send it!

A rail to rail Transfer Tutorial would be dope! Haven’t Seen any on youtube. Thx anyway !
I will film it when I go to a park with a tail to rail setup 🤘🏻
Rail to rail *
thanks a lot JB, it looks easy but quite scary! :)
You got it 🤘🏻
Awesome tutorial Jb. How do you get to pop so high? Do you pop with both feet halfway through or front foot first before pushing with the back foot?
Sometimes I sort of ollie off the face of the jump, but only if I need the extra pop. Normally I just jump, with good timing you should get plenty of pop.
Thanks JB! Can you give us a tutorial for transferring from the outside of a feature into a rail? I see these setups and they make no sense to me.
Yes for sure, when I go to a park that has a feature like that
JB ONeill awesome. If you’re ever out in the Sacramento area, Velocity and Wake Island are both fun and have that kind of transfer.
Oh yeah like Trever’s new rail, yeah I rode it the other day
JB ONeill exactly
Do we jump or ollie? Grate vid JB I have been wanting to transfers for so long, all my parks trans are tow side.
Either is fine, I mainly jump unless I need a little bit extra pop
Do you have or can you make a video to improve the rideing from beginners?
Yes, what do you want to know
@@jboneillso the basics like to be stable on the board or drive cornes ,curving and so on?
Nice video J.B. Have you ever been wake boarding in Europe before?
yeah, I have ridden in liquid leisure, breddas backyard, vasteras, and a couple more i think

When you transfer, do you push with two legs or Push off the tail in an ollie kind of motion?
i ike to ollie, but it is really just personal preference

Alright beginner question here but what’s a taco? I probably don’t want to find out
Basically when your body lands on the rail and you get folded over it like a taco

Why the f everything look so simple when ur doing tricks but in Real life i so hard
Haha, you got it, just try again and again
Красаучег))))))
