Welcome back to Malaysia. Hope that you guys have had a lovely time and a pleasant stay in Langkawi. The Tanjung Rhu beach is such a beautiful place.
Do you guys know that Langkawi isn't only a duty free island, it's also a UNESCO world heritage site geopark, the 52nd in the world, and the 1st in Southeast Asia. In Langkawi, there's a sandstone rock formation aged 550 million years old. In Langkawi, you can find a granite pebble dropstone aged a billion years ago originated from the supercontinent.
I think we're going to have to have you be our next tour guide

Due to La Nino the weather was extra hot n dry this year..Nice to see u enjoyed Langkawi 👍 if you're still in Malaysia recommend visiting the east coast islands too: Pulau Perhentian, Pulau Tioman, Pulau Redang 👌

next time take a change to Sabah..u will be suprise with the sea n the beach.BTW..try visit Tioman Island in Pahang too..its amazing

there is also another type of coffee..its kopi-c. Its coffee with evaporated milk..without the sugar. That is the best and healthiest. Just ask for Kopi C kosong. They will understand

Looking at the cameraman at the oriental village where the cable car is, it reminded me of my experience, do you guys believe in coincidence. When I joined MIDA, a Malaysian investment government agency, all I ever wanted is a chance to go, work and live in Europe. In 2006, I went to the cable car in Langkawi, got to the top observation deck and wanted to cross the skybridge but it was closed due to a Bollywood filming in progress. Little did I know, 2 years later in 2008, I got my long awaited posting, guess where was I posted, Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, the city of Bollywood film. Oh well, it wasn't my cup of tea and it's not worth anyone's time complaining, Mumbai wasn't a conducive environment to broaden my horizon. Perhaps I'll get my chance, in one way or the other possibilities to go, work and live in Europe. 😀

Thanks for sharing your Langkawi experience! It's great to see a positive and realistic view of the island. Travel blogs can sometimes be overly critical, but you've highlighted the charm of Langkawi while acknowledging there are different experiences to be had.
