I have a manual sedan its such a blast and couldnt really imagine getting the auto, but yours is totally beautiful and hey maybe the auto is nice in its own way.
My 1999 E36 M3 convertible automatic, completely stock also gets alot of hate lol. Mine only has 90K miles and all original OEM parts. I’m thinking about doing a manual swap but who knows. The value in these cars remains in keeping them stock and all oe parts
great video man Im watching this because im about to pickup a beautiful 75k miles M3 vert with an auto and this is the first video that actually showed what I was hoping to see and didnt just hate on the trans obv id love to have a 5speed but this car is to good to pass on and im not paying the manual premium. Anyways thanks for showing the autos some love
@@Bav_Evo yes please looking forward to the comparison, I have a coupe myself but I will never sell it, but maybe if I have a m3 I'd consider a sedan its just more comfortable especially with auto for a daily :D
you should consider retrofiting Alpina's Switch-Tronic. I did and transformed my e36 m3 auto. The paddle shifting is more responsive than the auto e46 an e90. btw, the autos in m3 are ZF units
Europe had a totally different engine. The Euro M3 was a superior car when it was new and / or current, but in the long term, the US M3 is better as an old used M car.

That’s awesome man! You’re right the 5spd hits different for sure!
Still manual for me but an Estoril Blue E36 M3 Sedan is a dream spec
Thanks man! Can’t beat e36 factory colors!
I had a Techno Violet E36 M3 sedan back in the day. It was my first M car and I never looked back. Your Estoril Blue over Mulberry looks good.
That’s awesome, techno violet is my favorite color! Sedan techno is super rare. What color was your interior?
@@Bav_Evo it was Mulberry.

Awesome video I got a yellow e36 M3 89k miles automatic and there awesome cars the auto doesn’t doesn’t deserve all the hate!
That’s awesome I love Dakar! Is it a vert or sedan?
@@Bav_Evo sedan it’s a fun car
Lovely car! I have a 1-owner 2000 528i M Sport, near mint.
Nice! The e39 is the best 5 series!
I’ve never heard anyone talk about this honestly ❤
What are your thoughts on e36 vert, or do you like the 4 doors 😮
@@LouisLuzuka personally I like the sedan over the coupe/vert but they are all amazing. Maybe I’ll make comparison!

Interesting, I would love to get my hands on some of the alpina parts. Please post a video of your setup and how you did it!

These type comments always come from people who don’t even own a M
bmw. Let along probably can’t even afford one 😂
@@goldstandardS52 they are way more expensive in Europe
