- Video appears to show the plane that was stolen by an airline worker flying in the sky moments before it crashed in a wooded area near Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
Always sad to see a suicide, but hey, what a way to go. Nabbing a plane, doing barrel rolls and tight turns to give the public a free air show, all whilst offering a comedy broadcast over the radio? Who said you can't turn a sad situation into something glorious? What a guy.

My brother works for Horizon and was there last night. He said this guy was a perfectly nice guy, didn't seem suicidal, (not that he wasn't) but also that he had been seen very recently watching training videos of how to fly planes. He was an airline ramp agent who was "tow trained", which gives an employee basic knowledge of how to power on and taxi aircraft.

I'm from the other side of the pond (Ireland) and don't really see this style of TV journalism at home. Landing is the hardest part.
He knew what he was doing. In a way. I'm not even sure that makes him entirely responsible. If he was mentally ill, he may not have even had a "choice" in his own mind. Mental illness can happen to anyone. It can be caused by all sorts of factors like viruses, genetics, certain kinds of brain tumors, chemical imbalances, allergies, hormonal disorders, medication side effects, etc. He knew he couldn't land the plane before he took off.
