Damming A Slot Drain To Isolate A Leak

In this weeks episode of Turning Leak Detection Into Repair Work, we're at a pool with an attached spa that spills over into a slot drain and runs back into the pool. The leak is in the slot drain, but to verify it, we need to fill the slot drain with water.
By damming the slot drain from draining into the pool, we let the water spill in and fill the reservoir. We used our Pool Scope and backed ourselves up with a dye test and ultimately, bid the repair and did the work.
