Music is genius part of this intro, but I think there are better openings, like Albertville, Sochi, Torino, Vancouver, Sydney, Athens 😎 Even that - good job from OBS 😀

I personally thought Sochi 2014 OBS intro music was too generic and boring. This on the other hand has a traditional Korean sound and reminds of PyeongChang. I love it.

By the visual POV the best intro IMHO remains the one from Turin 2006, but the music of this one is the best ever (theme from Arirang)

This music is composed by the Dutch speed skater Kai Verbij, not by the OBS.
Where is this source from? Video Creator LOCUS does not have such info(vimeo.com/254280379 ) .
The Dutch television did a interview with Kai and than Kai tell that.
Kai have on soundcloud more music but the Olympic sound not yet.
intro of Sochi 2014 much better.
