The Summers family tree is about screwed up as Magneto’s.

Vulcan is a powerful Mutant in the X-Men Comics and I need to read more on him. If Vulcan was in the Fox X-Men films, He would be played by Sam Witwer. Sean Faris(Never Back down) would be Havok before Lucas Till with James Marsden as Cyclops.

Origin was really as excuse to give Wolverine a solo movie since from the 1st X-Men movie, Hugh Jackman as Wolverine just completely overshadowed everybody not named Professor X or Magneto. In the movies they did Cyclops a disservice making him just a cuck to Wolves and Jean love triangle.
i was ok with Scott summers at least in the first X cos they kept him cool somehow and the actor was a good cast for him despite the fact that Nothing can compare to the cyclops from Comics, Video games and Animes etc
also suggest you to see the one mini series of X-Men done by the japanese
they did one of the coolest and best adapt of Cyclops in it
now MAGNETO was the real reason of why that 'FIRST CLASS' movie had a heart to it
despite having NOTHING to do with the true First class sadly..
except for BEAST
But again
true justice for Cyclops was never done in that film
The best part was when in X-Men : Red, Storm choked him and stunned him to a defeat with just one hand.
