Picking up my 260 in the morning. Nervous but excited. Upgrading from a cub cadet tank.

Gravely discontinued their best mower...the 400 series..They tend to over engineer their products IMO..What they should have done is..Kept the 400 series platform..Added the Parker transmissions..Larger tires...X-Factor 3 deck..larger 38.5hp efi engine and they would've had a great product and I'd have a new mower..Instead they "threw the baby out with the bath water " with this 600 series and the feedback coming from customers is exactly what I expected..NOT VERY GOOD..JS
I loved the 400s too. The 200s are pretty close though. And if they did all those changes to the 400...it would just be a 600 on a different frame. I will miss the 400 though.
@@rocketsoutdoorpower6971 Actually it would be a much Improved 400 series with 600 series decals on it..They can call it what ever they want..It's the performance of the machine that's important to the consumer..😉
@@PVHIII44 I agree. I just haven't seen any complaints from the 600s and whatever the complaints are, I'm imagining they aren't with the frame. They'd probably be the same with those changes to the 400.
@@rocketsoutdoorpower6971 According to Gravely's website..The 600 series only gets 3 star reviews from people who've actually purchased one..The 400 series gets 4 stars..Seems to me with the 600 series being the latest model..Those reviews are headed in the wrong direction..and if you don't "imagine" those bad reviews are coming from the frame/platform...Is it the new 38.5 engine or the new and improved X-Factor 3 deck???
@@PVHIII44 I haven't looked through reviews on them yet, but I think the X-Factor 2 cuts nicer than the 3. That could be it. The efi engine has been fantastic.
