All I could think of while watching that, is how unbelievably lovely it must be to be surrounded by so many family and friends who genuinely care about you.
As much as I'm against the whole system as it currently stands, I went thru DV, SA and by technicality have an "SA BABY" as a result, I was so young and thought about adopting him out on occasion, but as soon as I looked at him that first time, I just couldn't give him up, not when I didn't know if he'd have a loving family and a wonderful life to go to, I DO NOT regret my choice to keep him (well mostly, but he's 15, with ASD and a few other issues, and doing the teen boy thing atm, so on occasion when he's pushed my limits too far etc it's a funny little fleeting thought in that very specific moment, that I know ill look back on some day with a fond irritation) but if I'd chosen adoption and going forward for birth parents and adoptive ones I think this is a BRILLIANT idea, perhaps birth mom and dad won't want anything to do with it initially, but it would be good to keep some little vids like this aside for them, it would ease so much of the mom's anxieties and trauma to see or at least know that theres something to prove they made the right choice for their baby

It's caused me immense trauma over the years. And I don't have children because I chose not to because I know I can't give them the best.

The thing about being a Mom is just trying your best. No one is perfect and every mom makes mistakes sometimes, but sometimes our experiences are what makes us better parents. 🙂
Do you mean you was a surrogate? If so maybe next time you should write a small book and give it to the birth parents. So that the child will know when they are older how blessed and Loved he or she was at that time!

I love these videos, but I'm always amazed by the copious amounts of family/friends everyone seems to have in their lives. Even if you added up, collectively, everyone I've ever known in 44 years of life, the amount of folks I'd have to share this kind of news with, it would, maybe, be 1/4 of this!!
That little baby boy was just blessed with a huge loving family this is the ideal adoption story . This is what every birth mother who loves her baby enough to try to give it a better life hopes for to happen for their child if the can't raise them themselves. Just such memories created this day for this adopted child to see the acceptance and love their family had for him beautiful!!
I hope his birth mom gets a chance to see what an amazing choice she has made for her son, doing the right thing.. he’ll grow up with a huge family that’s welcomed him as their own from day one!!

I do have 16 first cousins on my moms side but it might be that we have the most close adult friends 😂 for my wedding I had 18 bridesmaids and my husband 18 groomsmen. 🤦🏼♀️ we are so blessed!!

This was suggested in my YT after I saw the post about Sage. Both my husband and I are from big families (boomers) and I just love the HUGE circle of love and caring that surrounds this family. Not just the number of family and friends, but their strength of character, their support and their love for this couple and ALL their children. what a GREAT thing, when you know that you have created a space of Love in your heart and home for three children, who can now grow to be their best selves, surrounded by people with can give them everything they need. Kudos, also, to the birth parents, for putting their children’s needs before their own.
How blessed the babies of today are to be able to have video and photo of them being introduced to their families. I wish I had videos of my birth announcement and meeting my family for the first time. I bet it was amazing.
I’m watching this in Ireland. 🇮🇪🇺🇸. This is the best, and most emotional child surprise video, I have ever seen, this baby is going to wonderful people, with very good and caring friends. I hope they keep us all posted on his upbringing, and how he gets on in life. I feel like I’m a part of it now and would really like to know more about him! God bless all involved.

I’m Canadian, but they mentioned picking the baby up in Syracuse, which is in New York State, about 2 hrs from the Canada/US Border at Gananoque, so I’m assuming they are in New York State, somewhere. I agree - what an awesome family / circle of love to bring a child into. “It takes a Village”, and this family certainly has a great one.
I was orphaned very young but never adopted, just passed around the system. I always wonder about the birth parents with adoptions. If only all children were precious in fact and deed

His chosen mommy, daddy and brother are the people that god has always had in mind from the very beginning. With that much love going around, Julian you will be cherished forever. God bless you for saying that. Birth-moms are all too often judged poorly, and degraded. I made that same decision, 16 years ago, and while I could have raised my only son myself, I couldn’t have given him the life, and family, he deserves. Family is so important, and I got the short end of the stick, so I did what I had to do to give him what I always needed. I miss him every day, and I, now, have a wonderful family, but I didn’t then, and I don’t regret my decision for a second. It’s a closed adoption but I hear things every once in a while and he’s now a very happy, loved, and talented young man.

It takes so much strength and I can imagine it's not easy at all, but I have so much admiration for mother's who chose the harder path just to make sure their child was alive and cared for. It's so frustrating seeing so many ppl looking negatively upon these situations. In case anyone hasn't told you you made the absolute best decision for your child and you are a super strong woman. 🙂

I was orphaned very young but never adopted, just passed around the system. I always wonder about the birth parents with adoptions. If only all children were precious in fact and deed
His birth mother loves Julian more than anything to have the strength to give him up for adoption. A truly selfless act of love. His chosen mommy, daddy and brother are the people that god has always had in mind from the very beginning. With that much love going around, Julian you will be cherished forever. God bless you for saying that. Birth-moms are all too often judged poorly, and degraded. I made that same decision, 16 years ago, and while I could have raised my only son myself, I couldn’t have given him the life, and family, he deserves. Family is so important, and I got the short end of the stick, so I did what I had to do to give him what I always needed. I miss him every day, and I, now, have a wonderful family, but I didn’t then, and I don’t regret my decision for a second. It’s a closed adoption but I hear things every once in a while and he’s now a very happy, loved, and talented young man.
@@povertylevelphilanthropy1524 I've always thought and believed that giving up your child for adoption is most selfless act any mother could do. It takes so much strength and I can imagine it's not easy at all, but I have so much admiration for mother's who chose the harder path just to make sure their child was alive and cared for. It's so frustrating seeing so many ppl looking negatively upon these situations. In case anyone hasn't told you you made the absolute best decision for your child and you are a super strong woman. 🙂

I'm so grateful that this baby was given a chance, even though his birthmom couldn't or didn't want to care for him. So many selfless things have been done. May all of their lives be happy and blessed.
We are so thankful for the gift she gave. The gift of life is amazing and we are truly blessed !!
