It happened again! Totally unexpected adoption story. (It’s a girl)

- Our daughter Sage Ariann was born February of 2022. We were not expecting to get the call and before this didn’t know if we’d have any more children. After 2 sons we were delighted to have a daughter. She spent 11 nights in the hospital before we got to bring her home.
This brought me back to 6 yrs ago when my daughter and son in law adopted a little girl, our little Kaylee is such a joy to our family! congrats to you and yours , she is just precious!
So Grandpa Christman here. Can't hardly see to type (my eyes are sweating ) Blown away again by Gods faithfulness. His plans are always perfect!!

You probably don’t remember me, I donated a bunch of milk to your son, I think his name was Julian, while I was stationed at that army base not far from your house 😉 back in 2021. Yes adoption is amazing. we keep a lot of our children’s stories private for them to share one day if they wish but yes, we do know the stories of their first families. We are so thankful for people that are brave enough to make such hard decisions.

Wish Australia did more adoption with single mothers and parents pension many get to keep children that won't be looked after well and IVF is incredibly expensive here

How do u adopt? How much does it cost? Do u pick the child or they will just call you?
Prices vary a lot depending on type of adoption and different things. We used a private agency. The adoption investigation (also called homestudy) is a long and invasive process. Then typically the expectant parents choose the adoptive parents.
i love that you adopt babies hope maybe teenager someday to isnce they have hard finding homes but how ocme you started it may i ask if it was struggle with getting pregnant and the n ivf and then thought o fadopting?
Yes teenage adoption is definitely a needed thing! So many people waiting. We were not able to conceive and wanted a family so we turned to adoption :)

I first thought its maybe a mistake an they meant 2023 but there are other videos where the sweetheart is already older.. she must be 1 now.

Getting this call- though shocking, (because we had an 11 month old) was one of the best and most exciting things I have had happen in my life!!
It is great you got another baby. But because you have 2 others why not give another woman that can’t have children a chance to adopt this one. Life is not fair.
I kind of agree. As well as unless this was a private adoption, I can't imagine how the mom was approved, as she is morbidly obese. That is a major health concern. I know people will say that she is still healthy even at that weight, but it's not true. It's just all sorts of health issues waiting to happen if they aren't already. It's not fair to those children to have a parent at that weight.
