    beautiful families - i think if they would ignore their child at first it might go smoother - just sit quietly and let the child initiate the interaction maybe.

    The children are so terrified. It’s making me sick with dread for them. Horrible traumatic first experience for these orphans who’ve suffered so much already.

    Reminds me of seeing my adoptive sister from Ecuador when she was 6 months old. 💕 She never cried the whole journey until she was placed in her new crib at home, but she adapted quickly. She will be 50 in December, is a 12 year breast cancer survivor, mother of two boys, a military wife, and my best friend! I don’t like to use the term adoptive. She is just my sweet, little, sissy and I love her with all my heart! 💗💗💗

    While it's such a blessing for these families to adopt such beautiful babies, i feel the transition of being separated from their foster parents or care givers is way too fast, we all cheer for the children and the new parents but not everyone realizes the emotional pain the caregivers go through as well. Imagine taking care of a newborn and knowing that eventually, you must give this baby away must be hard, it doesn't matter if they know this day will come because obviously that's what they signed up for however letting go must be somewhat hard and probably the only reason they stand strong ia knowing and hoping these babies will go to a caring, sweet and loving home. Bless all the ones involved...❤

    How traumatic for the kids, taken from who they know and given to strangers. Wasn’t there a getting to know you period? Also are these Asian children, I always thought that there are American kids waiting to be adopted.

    • @bethjarzombek4742
      @bethjarzombek4742 2 дня назад +3

      We don't have a lot of orphans. We mostly have traumatized kids with toxic backstories that most people don't know how to deal with.

    • @elliesouza717
      @elliesouza717 2 дня назад +4

      @Farmergirl7 No, there really isn't a "getting to know you" period, for so many reasons. And this idea that only children in certain parts of the world deserve families is downright evil in my eyes! This is a difficult time, but it passes and they can have a happy life. If you had ever adopted, you wouldn't start with this foolishness

    • @Farmergirl7
      @Farmergirl7 2 дня назад

      @@elliesouza717 how do you know they have a happy life? How many go back looking for their bio family.? Didn’t China and Russia stop this type of program?
      It turned into trafficking.
      “They would fabricate the information. They would make up names and say the baby was found at the Sunday market, near the bridge, on the street,” Duan Fagui, the family’s patriarch, said in the same 2010 interview. “Very few of the stories about the babies were true.”
      It was all about the money.

      It does seem rushed but we have no idea of the caregivers schedule. I think it would better to have only the adoptive parents to meet their child as a whole family must be overwhelming for a confused toddler.

    Yo no podría desprenderme de mi hijo, como tampoco recibir a otro niño abandonado, que por más pequeño, sufre el desprendimiento de los lazos con su mamá. Hoy con tanto método anticonceptivo, es impensable deshacerse de un niño como su fuera un par de zapatos viejos.
