- ■ PERU, SACRED VALLEY: In a region famed for her abundance of Inca ruins, the Sacred Valley of Cusco, the last thing I expected was to uncover one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at plus have said premises all to myself.
Yet that is exactly what happened at Sacred Lodge Luxury hotel. Upon arrival the receptionist wasn't even there.
So what then makes this hotel such great value for money? And why were there no other guests there if this is the case? Why is there a cat in my room? And why on earth did I swim in that wild river? That and more in today's episode from Peru's sacred valley. . .

Harald, I'm poor and disabled. I have a bad hip and leg so I can't walk without a lot of pain and using a cane or walker. I just wanted to say THANK YOU HARALD!!! Thank you for showing me all the beautiful places you visit, places I would never get to see otherwise!! I get to see the world through your eyes and lens!! Thank you again brother!!

In Peru news today, a crazy Norwegian man was washed down river in sacred valley, luckily a hotel cat named Pedrito/ Esmeralda found him and rescued the Viking from the freezing waters..

My entire mother's side of the family are peruvian and it's amazing to see these videos of u visiting. Only video I seen of peru really are documentaries about narcos and stuff but you totally showing the entire world how incredible and mystical peru really is. One of the most magical mystical countries on the face of the earth.

Hard to believe that such a handsome man is all alone in such a beautiful place and he loves cats is a bonus that makes him so much more attractive.
As Haraldo goes on the pisco with Esmerelda the Male cat who likes to punch the camera, I’m envious once again of the incredible adventures of H. We dream of a babbling river in a forest in Peru and going for a dip, meanwhile Harald is going for it while a million of us hang onto his coattails for the ride. Better than any travel show. The cat should have his/her own vlog😂😂

That resort is astonishing, makes you think how much hard work went into building it and how the idea came across one peruvian individual to build such a hotel on the outskirts of a jungle!

What a ridiculously wonderful place. I want to go there just for the cat........ what a welcome........ and that cat knew right away your a good soul Harald. The price wasnt even that high given the location and facilities. You have stayed in some fabulous places over the past few months, but this place for me is defo in the top 3.

Thanks for showing that hotel. That one was very nice its so secluded out in the mountains and you even have a drinking cat buddy. It reminds me of one time I was in three rivers CA. At a hotel near Lake Kawea CA. The best hotel near a river. I had my fishing gear on a fishing trip. So back go the hotel .I had MY! Whiskey and coke and an you could hear the river near buy and a little market up the street for food. And lets just say I had a great time . Never caught a fish but you know what they say no fish on a fishing trip is a better day at work

When I rode my motorcycle through peru, I went down the Pan American highway along the coast. Really regret not going further east, it looks much cooler than the Pacific

I love the rawness of your videos and how honest each episode is because it's all in one take unrehearsed. This is probably the best hotel I've ever seen on RUclips because it's something I'm into. Out in the woods/forest next to a river. The other feature of a hotel having a backyard is impressive enough and it has a jacuzzi! THEY ALSO HAVE A FRIENDLY CAT!!! Such a paradise!

Use of rock walls...sometimes rock walls are built mainly to clear ground for walking, gardening. So a wall is just a place to pile the rocks to get them out of the way. Easier than carrying away.
