  • There are a variety of voluntary surgical options for preventing breast cancer. For women with a high risk of breast cancer, they can be a complete game-changer. But, before you volunteer to undergo any of these surgical options, you need to know whether or not you’re a good candidate, what each entails, and the benefits and risks of each. I’ll tell you all of that in this video.

Everything you talked about here, happened to me: at 37 I got hit with ovarian cancer stage 2 completely out of the blue, after never having been sick in my life. Complete removal of entire reproductive system (+lymph and omentum), find out it's brca1 mutation, now going in for preventative double mastectomy and being forced into premature, sudden menopause. All of that as a single mom. Thanks to you I'm getting estrogen therapy now, 1 year after hysterectomy, so that nightmare is taken care of and due to the cancer being stage 2 I'm confident in staying cancer free after surgery and chemo and now pursuing all the natural treatments and prayer. What a ride. Never imagined something like this could happen to me.
Thank God he was watching over me 👆🏼🙏🏼😊 I had an ovary torsion and the pain sent me to the ER. This is how we found it early when I would never ever go to the doc *voluntarily* ✌🏼

Flat closure denial can be a problem in the breast surg setting. Aesthetic flat closure exists in contrast to skin sparing mast. It is a contrast w/ a significant difference in outcome.

Girl I'm going in for preventative mastectomy due to brca1 and I did NOT appreciate you lifting up that knife 😅
