Love this! Thank you for speaking truth to fear. I wish you and your menopause trained colleagues could get in front of the oncology world with this information.

Thank you for this. You are soo right. After being diagnosed and having been treated for breast cancer. There are so many "do not's" it's like being in a prison of menapause systems. And the oncology profession think that's ok.

There is no other medical entity that is enshrouded with fear like breast cancer. And fear runs the whole breast cancer system.

Brilliant again. Women chase me down and ask how I look so great. I’m 60 look 30s feel better than my 20s. I tell them I decided to bypass all menopause symptoms with estrogen. Saved my looks and life and will save me from heart disease, osteoporosis, and dementia. And they say ohhhhhhh well I can’t take it because my doctor says blah blah blah I am at a risk for cancer. I roll my eyes. I am so tired hearing this junk. Your content has saved my life for the last five years thank you and thanks for bringing this one up! This is a new topic that nobody seems to have brought up yet. Now that you’ve said something, they’ll wait a bit and then jump on the bandwagon because it’s truth. Again, you are the trailblazer, smart beauty! 🙏🏻♥️👸🏻👊🏻

@andreacrouch36 enjoyed reading your comment! since you replied on his particular video about post-breast cancer menopause treatments, I am assuming you are a BC survivor like myself? if so, would love to hear more about how you were successful in getting BHRT (and whether you were ER and/or PR +).

This was so powerful - thank you, Dr Taylor. It seems like there needs to be a massive awareness campaign about this issue, addressing both the medical community as well as the general public/women.

Most of the things that increase risk for breast cancer are the diet and lifestyle things ... over which you have control or your reproductive history ... over which you no longer have control.

I just finished active treatment for stage 3 breast cancer in January and you’re spot on. I thought I would be moving on with my life after chemo, a double mastectomy and radiation BUT nope, I’m constantly at the oncologist and other various doctors still and it really is like a full time job. Thank you so much for this video. SO much.

Taking no prisoners today, Barbie (pun intended) and am thankful for that. No doctor will say you are cured, so you live in fear of recurrence even if you’ve had stage 1A. How many years does a woman need to wait to have peace of mind?
Can’t wait for the next video…

You should seriously consider scheduling a consultation with me.
This is precisely the kind of thing for which I do one-on-one consultations. You definitely need one. I cannot tailor things specifically to you in a comment box. It requires much more information than you can give me here, and you deserve much more information than I can give you here. No two women are alike, and addressing your situation requires tailoring all the facts specifically to YOU. I do them all via online video conferencing. You can schedule at MenopauseTaylor.ME. I look forward to meeting you and helping you.

Greetings Dr Barbie! Present and ready for class!
I have to wonder if it's all because there is a lack, or shall i say, disregard, of research on women's health and treating us. This means they refuse to let women who had breast cancer have HRT because there are no studies that say it is safe.
The same can be said after a diagnosis of uterine/endometrial cancer before menopause. My stage was 1a and i was allowed to use estradiol. However, i know two women who had Stage 3 and they were not allowed, despite having a successful chemo/radiation treatment fir it and cleared after five years, aka cancer free.
Women's health studies are 100 years behind the times. They need to act on it and get more funding to tell women WHY they can't use it post-breast cancer

      It's all about 2 things:
      Fear
      Money
      Fear sells. It makes gazillions.

Oh my God..this makes me so angry! Women can’t use HRT after a hormone positive breast cancer because breast cancer cells can still be in the body microscopically. Even with a stage 1 cancer with no lymph node involvement, cancer cells could have traveled through the bloodstream. Breast cancer is known to spread..metastasize. Women used to die routinely, but not anymore! We don’t want to use hormone products because we know they FUEL these cancer cells to grow again. And sorry, both ductal (80% of breast cancers) and lobular (10% of breast cancers) are hormone positive!!! And endocrine therapy is not forever! Whether Tamoxifen or an Aromatase Inhibitor they are given for 5 years. Maybe 7, or 10 years tops for the worst cases. It’s not a state of terror. It’s about doing all you can to not have a recurrence. You can’t say “cured” when those microscopic cancer cells can still be in the body just waiting to grow again. Why would you take a chance using hormone replacement knowing that estrogen acts as fuel for breast cancer? Scientific fact..not fear. Women are surviving breast cancer because of all we know and the therapies we have today including endocrine therapy! I promise you the brutal treatments of chemo, radiation, and surgery are worse than menopause symptoms

    • @pbj91
      @pbj91 Месяц назад

We know why. Because even after a Stage 1 diagnosis, breast cancer cells can still be in the body microscopically. They could have broken from the tumor and traveled through the lymph system or bloodstream. They can “wake up” well after 5 years. Some breast cancer like lobular, is known for having late recurrence..even 20 years later. Estrogen is known to FEUL their growth. Without estrogen, the estrogen receptors all over the breast cancer cells have nothing stimulating them to grow. Thanks to endocrine therapy and the fact that science now understands how estrogen fuels breast cancer cells, women are surviving breast cancer! It’s another tool in the tool box to keep cancer cells at bay. It’s very upsetting that this so called doctor doesn’t seem to understand the make up of breast cancer cells and is suggesting to women that hormone replacement therapy is safe for women who have had hormone positive breast cancer.
