Beating The World Touring Car 600 Tokyo Expressway Race - Gran Turismo 7 Tuning Guide

- One of the highest payout races in Gran Turismo 7 is the rather difficult World Touring Car 600 race at Tokyo Expressway and we've got Chaz back on our screens taking it on with another Tuning Guide video. Said video makes use of a legendary car - the Nissan Skyline R34 GTR V-Spec II Nur Edition.
This setup was posted on our forums back in October 2023 by Breeminator, who has a history of taking lots of different cars to this particularly difficult race event - we'll be sure to cover more of them in future!

@michaelkohler8181 just done it, had comfort mediums on and ballast 24, everything else same as the video, finished 3 seconds a head, wasn't fun but it can be done
Yep! Definitely before the 1.49 update. I’ve been going crazy!! And couldn’t figure it out why… until I saw the video is over a month old. 🤦🏼♂️
@@tatsnneeps341 I mean I bought a new car and copied every single detail. I think it has to do with the new update.
When I saw the water on the road, my first initial thoughts were inter tires, but it's rather hard to constantly look and stay on the dry line so you don't slip up.
Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final (Road Car) with a low rpm turbo and medium tires does a good job in this race.
Use Porsche 911 09 with the 169-190k Porsche engine swope sports hard tire no pit stop easy win

Tokyo is one of those races where you really need to understand the requirements to victory. Once you do tho, it’s a pretty fun/rewarding race
This car works great just had to make a few adjustments to the settings
This race is tough, a slight tap of the wall and you lose the clean bonus.

I hate that this is a chase, not a race. And AI is simply not bothered by the wet conditions. Shit race, unfortunately.
I have two questions, does this still work and do I have to do the engine swap? 1.1 million dollars is quite expensive especially if this doesn’t work anymore
Date reads 11 april, didnt try it yet but it might not be that easy after the last update. Im not at lvl 50 yet btw 😅

Now i am lvl50, btw im beating this race with the Alpine 220 or the KTM crossbow, both with sport hard, in case is usefull for anyone
I have all the settings right but my max power is 576 but the PP is at 632.60

Max power for me with exactly the same settings is 623bhp indeed, but a PP of 618.74. It will be the Spanish BoP?😂

this was posted a month ago but this doesnt work at all, not even close. Dont try this unless you already have the car with the engine swaped
i'm struggling with this race...so i looked for a solution and found your video...yes, there is a solution but i'm only lvl 39 so it's far far away for the engine swap...so i did something else. I bought some cars and got a 6 star tickets (engine) and you better belief that i just got that one engine 🤣 i feel like i've won the lottory
even if you win, you cant swap until level 50

You're right but you can modify it slightly and it works great.
Take off the torque thing, 90 ECU, 77 Power, 35 Ballast at -35, Downforce 103-330 is what I just used with some other body mods. No pit stop gives you huge advantage, this engine gets you the power and efficiency needed.
