They put a shim in between the lobes and once the gears are tight on the shaft the pump is correctly timed. The shims will have a precise measurement.

They put shims according to the clearance between lobs then lock the lobe by wood and mounted other grear with hydraulic pressure.

Not standard but according to the machine manual in Gm 90s 0.15 to 0.25 mm
