Sounds great, but could you play some Blackmore riffs? Cleaner, no chorus, use more middle and neck pickup stuff? That would really show what it could do. Sorry, I’m an old man, old school player. Otherwise, awesome! 🙏
No can do brother... we would be struck with a copy right claim and they would demonetize our video thats why we don’t play anything that is not our own music or we just do riffs off the cuff, thanks for checking out the video - Kevin
I just built a Malmsteen Strat and I hate the scalloped neck. It's just not my cup of tea. I do, however, like the YJM Duncan Fury pups, so I ordered a new neck that came off a Squire Affinity strat, big headstock, vintage tuners.
I made before some years a Harley Benton Malmsteen replica with scalloped neck, pickups, brass nut but i had to sell it. Ι found two new old stock strats: Blackmore (2009 model) at 1.000€ and a regular MIM strat(2009 model) with rosewood fretboard at 500€ The question is: Blackmore strat worth the extra money?
Thank you for your reply Kevin! I tested and it was wonderful guitar but I had to ask you because you made an honest review about this guitar and you still have it. Pickups are high gain single coils and how you handle them under high gain?
In all honesty, i always hated Fender guitars, i just never could find one that worked for me, this was the first , the pups aren’t noisy as you would expect, they sound great and although i had so much trouble bonding with a fender, every single time i sit down to play or write a riff, this is the guitar i naturally gravitate to, don’t know why but i always do. And now i want another fender lol. One thing to note is this is a two pickup guitar as the middle is a dummy and its a three way blade instead of 5, if your looking for the singlecoil spank sound, this probobley won’t be what you want, if you do play high gain and want something that sounds great and has an awesome clean tone, this will get you there, I hope my rambling answered your question - Kevin
Sounds just like any other guitar

There is no middle pickup installed in this.
The middle isn't a real pickup. It's just a dummy put in to fill the cavity.
@@sheumackit’s a Ritchie Blackmore model. He doesn’t have a middle pick up
Blackmore rarely if ever use the middle pick up though
anyone else here from Better Call Saul?
Ah, I see you are a man of culture as well.

Those strap locks look like Dunlop flush mounted ones. Are you sure they are Seymour Duncan's?
Description below corrects it… i got tongue twisted during the video - Kevin
@@Crypticmaskguitar Alright. I just thought to ask because if they were indeed Duncans, I think it is some product worth checking out.

Too me the pickups are stellar and i love the neck on the guitar as well the tuning stability is excellent, but everyones tastes are different - Kevin

Thank you a lot for your reply and your opinion to this guitar!!
Yes, it's worth the money.
Hi. Those Seymour duncan mics sounds like the original Fender ones?
hi any issues of bending after 12th frets such as in roadworn 50's with the same or similar vintage low radius?
Just typical sustain fender issues - Kevin
no issues at all. It's even less of an issue since it has a scalloped fretboard.
Sounds pretty awesome
If somebody makes choose between this guitar and a satriani ibanez i choose easy blackmore stratocaster!

I have both and I can tell you the ibanez quality is far superior
@@rabbamonkey 😂👌

Boomy room, you should fix the acoustics man
Stay Tuned for his video next month. Cheers -Ryan
Sounds as if it's got enough BALLS
Only guitar review on youtube that doesn't feature a Blackmore riff
nice content anyways
Is it light or well balanced on abit more wood on the guitar
I have on from 2017 and it's light (not super light) and well balanced. No issues what so ever with weight and balance
