Nice job on the video. Thank you! We have been using Unique for three years now. No clogs and good odor control. We use Costco toilet paper and have had no issues. We go many times a season. Just use a bit more than recommended and enough water. We are big fans and would not want to use anything else. Happy camping everyone!
That's great to hear! Always happy yo hear about people having what works for them figured out.
Omg thank you so much for this disgusting video! It’s just what I needed! I’ve been going back and forth trying to figure out what to get to help with our system! Ordering digest it now!
Glad to help hahahha
Damn good video brother, these kinds of videos are the most informative and helpful! You got hands on and showed how it worked. Appreciate the video 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
@jo03rsxs Thank you! Glad to help show it.
Thanks for all your efforts on these 2 tests. Sorry you've had so many negative comments on these. Get happy people, your camping and not working!! I've had good results so far with Unique and my sister loves Happy Camper
Thank you !!!!
Thanks for this video!! Ill get a container of Digest it!
No problem hope it does well for you!
Thank you for the video. I am looking at the Unique products to try in my RV.
They work really well, we have been using them exclusively for about 2 half years now. They will make you happy!
Happy Camper is my favorite. No Odor’s .
We tested happy camper in the previous video and it worked well but Unique seem to do a little better. Happy Camper didn't mask the smell as well as we had expected or hoped it would either.
We tried Happy Camper powder and it didn’t dissolve well in cold water. I’ve used RV Digest-It for several years and I’m usually able to get the tank sensors clean enough to read empty after a good flushing.
We have had the same experience from time to time. I usually have to do a half scoop of Happy Camper, flush then another half to make it work. That's why most of the time we perfer the liquid of the Unique. Thanks for watching 👀!
Unique Digest-it worked ok for odors in our black tank but it didn't dissolve the toilet paper and we tried regular single ply and RV rated. We also had a lot more solid waste than you would expect that never broke down. We would start with 5 gallons of water in our 47 gallon tank and 3 measured ounces of the product. We would fill the bowl every time we used the bathroom before flushing and every time we tried to dump the tank, it was blocked and I had to use a reverse flush valve. We contacted the company and their suggestion was to add more of the product after a few days. That didn't work either. I know many people love the product but for us it didn't work. Eventually we went with a different product that works really well.
Sorry to hear that it didn't work for you. I don't find it to be a good odor deterrent either. I haven't had issues with it not breaking anything down though but of course I don't measure it out I always add more than what it recommends. What didnyou end up switching over to that works for you? Thanks for watching 👀
@@Hallstop_hangout I switched to TankTechsRX Probiotic RV tank treatment and follow the directions. It requires you to leave approximately 1 inch of liquid in the tank to maintain the existing culture of mature, beneficial microorganisms if using your RV long term which we do when we snowbird. If I'm only camping for up to a week, I dump and clean the entire tank like I used to.
I'll have to look into that one thanks!
@@Hallstop_hangout It's more money than Unique initially but cheaper overall because you use less after the initial treatment. Good luck!
@RH63 good to know, thanks
What have you found actually works best for the smell
Truthfully some of them just mask it a little but it's never fully gone. Best suggestion is keep an air fresher in the bathroom. We have yet to find one that completely get rid of any odor.
I sure appreciate your honesty.
That's what we're doing it for lol . We don't like to mislead anyone into purchasing something that doesn't help their needs.
Cool demonstration!
Thanks for watching 👀
Being same same brand name , what happens if you mix them and try it. ????
Good question we haven't tried that I'm sure it would be more potent.
Tank cleaner is just a highly concentrated version of digest it
I agree with you
I use the digest stuff. Just saying
@@bradnerling7156 We use it on a regular basis as well
A septic tank needs to be well-vented so that the bacteria and enzymes have plenty of oxygen for aerobic digestion. A sealed container will go anaerobic (nasty smell) right quick.
That is very true
Your comparison is not accurate. It's like comparing Ridex to Mr. Clean. One is designed to break down poop and waste, and the other is designed to clean the tank after it's been drained and re-filled with water, also to clean the sensors. They both don't do the same job, so why would you test them to do so?
That's what people on my last video requested to test out.
It was a tie!!
Pretty much! Thanks for watching 👀
Get a macerating toilet it makes it easier 🤣
...could do without the background music, but thank you!
OK... thanks for watching 👀
RV Digest Did broke it down better
Seems that way to me as well! Thanks for watching 👀
I’m sorry but you are comparing an apple to an orange. Two different products for two different purposes.
That is true but that's what people were asking for on the last video.
@@Hallstop_hangout Then, they know not what they ask. Would you believe that all those digester products should not be used? Or that Most sensors that do not work correctly is caused by using those products and not addressing the real culprit “struvite”?
I believe that is somewhat true. These products do help in the breakdown process and more so in the septic systems that it all ends up in. But yes in older tanks that struvite is a big issue. Proper cleaning of tanks is something that most people are not well educated on or just don't care about until it's a problem.
