    • @belletoyota
      @belletoyota  10 месяцев назад

      If you are referring to the button on the bottom left part of the steering wheel, which you can see a close up on 0:35, this is the voice command for the vehicle's multi media display. If you are referring to the buttons on the right part of the steering wheel beside the cruise control buttons, which you can see a close up on 0:37, these are sensors for the pre-collision, & tracing assist.

    Thanks! We recently bought a 2022 Toyota RAV4 in Hungary. To my dismal the user's manual is in Hungarian. OK, I am very fluent in that language - but for technical information I still prefer the English. Unfortunately - like others wrote below about the manual in English - same applies to the one in Hungarian. I never seen a more useless way to kill a bunch of trees than that manual!
    Have already nearly 6000 km in that car and wasn't able to figure out how to change / display the trip information.
    There is one other bad thing. I am unable to change the km display into (US) miles. As Toyota Hungary did admit - that feature was intentionally removed from the firmware of the car "because of the EU requirements". This is obviously a huge pile of bovine excrements because the previous model had that feature and EU did not complain.
    Is it possible to get the Canadian firmware somehow? At last - because the Hungarian currency collapsed and because we did not need to pay local 27% sales tax - the car was quite inexpensive: less, than US 28000 for a 222 HP AWD Hybrid model. But because Toyota Hungary employs morons the firmware of that car is crippled by intent.

      Exactly! Both Trips is to make it easier to measure the distance from one location to the next, without needing to remember what mileage you started at on your Total Odometer.

    Thanks ... I'll go look for the magic button! The manual for the 2021 RAV4 Hybrid does NOT show this! The manual mentions Trip A and Trip B exist but there are zero instructions as to how to do this. Trip seems to mean since hybrid system start, and there is a resettable Total miles function that appears to be the same as "Since Reset' on our 2017. But there is no reference in the manual about showing or switching to A and B trip miles, which were simple to do on the control cluster on the wheel on the 2017. If there are instructions for this they are not indexed.

    • @belletoyota
      @belletoyota  2 года назад

      Hi there! Thanks for your feedback- I understand the manual can be difficult to read sometimes. The dial for trip A and trip B is on the left side of your instrument cluster. Here is a link to the online pdf version of your manual (instructions on how to operate the trip A and B dial is on page 96 of the manual): s3.amazonaws.com/toyota.site.p01/toyota/manuals/OM0R074U/OM0R074U.pdf

    • @rattlesnakeridgeresearch6144
      @rattlesnakeridgeresearch6144 2 года назад

      @@belletoyota Once I knew it was there I was able to find the text, but the indexing is bad. If you look up Trip A and Trip B, are not directed to the existence or function of this black button in a black panel hidden by the wheel. Instead you have to guess that you must look up "ODO". The text stating that there are two trip odometers should direct users to this button. Not your fault (you provided the needed info!), but Toyota should fix the manual.

    This is gthe third video I've watched abiut the Odometer. All I want to know is where to see TOTAL MILEAGE DRIVEN SINCE THE CAR WAS NEW. In all three videos, what is stated is you can go from trip A (in this video it is shown as 16.2km), to Trip B (which is also 16.2. Then it goes to ODO, which as stated shows what I want to see ...the total km driven all time...is shown as 16km. Huh?

    • @belletoyota
      @belletoyota  9 месяцев назад

      Apologies as it looks like we missed replying to your question. The reason why the Trip options seems to be more is because the ODO displays to the closest whole km, it will round up once the Trip travels to a whole km, while the Trip options will display less than a whole 0.0km
