This can sometimes work, but a lot of people with the Rav4 have problems. It will open a few inches then stop. Press the button again and it will close. Other times it will be fine.

I don’t have the option in the app to add a subscription. I have remote start and that works other than the vehicle shuts off when door is open (witch is stupid) gents why I need the app to unlock/start it

I have a Toyota Rav 4 Hybrid 2017. I have problem with the door when I want to close it. It opens ok with no problems. But the problem is when I want to close it, it beeping up to 1-5 times before it want to close, nothing is in the way. But now I have tried this on the video and I hope it will help!😊 (sorry for my English 😅)

I have a 2017 Highlander Hybrid. It doesn't have the PBD option in the settings. The battery died and the liftgate wasn't working. With the liftgate in the full-open position, I removed the negative terminal on the battery for like 5 seconds, then reconnect it. I then closed the liftgate and it locked. It was fully functional at that point. (I had the liftgate switch in the glove compartment area pressed in)

It's a simple solution. You buy a different manufacturer that won't try to scam you just to use your key fob. Won't be buying a Toyota anytime soon.
