It's a simple solution. You buy a different manufacturer that won't try to scam you just to use your key fob. Won't be buying a Toyota anytime soon.
100% agree. Really irritating to have to continuously pay for something so basic & included in other cars. Haven't even seen another brand trying to charge customers for this SMFH.
I don’t have the option in the app to add a subscription. I have remote start and that works other than the vehicle shuts off when door is open (witch is stupid) gents why I need the app to unlock/start it
The subscription option becomes available once your trial period concludes. If your remote start feature is currently functioning, a subscription is not required at this time. For safety reasons, the vehicle will automatically turn off when a door is opened, preventing unauthorized use and protecting your vehicle from theft.
My 4Runner doesn’t have the remote start option in the app. How do I get it?!

Depending on the year of your vehicle, the vehicle may just need a system update. Go to the menu and scroll down, under the list there should be an option for update.
For me, the apps are greyed out and don’t allow me to click them. What should I do?
