I heard this song shortly after losing my father, it reduced me to tears. Chilling and raw emotions poured over me. I absolutely love that I found this hidden gem. God bless you all. Grieving is healing.

The Frogs are great. You only hear whispers about them but when you look, you’re never disappointed

My favorite cd by Pearl Jam is when they played at orepheum theater in 1994 and Eddie asked the crowd if they have heard of a band called the frogs and the crowd went wild.

To make it all even sadder?
The "sample" track that Jimmy's singing on The Longing Goes Away was Dennis' idea.

Saw them in what had to be 1998 or 1999 at the hard rock cafe in Chicago for what couldn't have been more than 30 people. Fucking amazing, Jimmy ended up crawling on the floor in the dirt and grime shirtless and giving his all. It was really a special and weird evening.

I'm not sure but it almost seems like at the very end Eddie whispers in his ears something about the wings and points to them. I wonder if he was like, can u believe I still have these fucking things?? It something to that notion lol
