Beautiful bus . If you can check out leave her wild. She is doing a bus conversion. Would be great to see a bus meet up or meet and greet!
@@usagirl4188 ¹¹¹¹
Love how honest they are about the mistakes that they made and what they would different... lovely bus 🚌
🥰
that was probably my favorite part tbh. Or at least the part that stood out the most :)
i read your comment before i actually watched the video, man you are right though :))
my man is spitting truth like its nothing !
With Ryan's ruclips.net/user/postUgkxy_pn55PK60wAV3X_C_RoLS_67mNonoCE plan I was like one taken by the hand and led step by step from start to finish. Thank you very much Ryan!
I love their attitude! “About 75% done. Let’s live in it.” I think that is a very healthy approach to life. If you wait until something is perfect you may never move forward.
Damn it ain't tiny .. it's a whole Apartment on wheels
Bigger yet cheaper than a nyc apartment 😂
when she said tiny fridge it really made me think less of my far more efficient Dometic crx80 :O who needs that much food in their stores? I guess gigantic fridges are an American thing?
@@wingingit3071 big families and people who enjoy cooking would love the storage for their daily cooking.
@@reezy3896 there is two of them living in the bus, not sure that warrants a gigantic fridge freezer, bit they do have the room
Creating a lovely, welcoming home shouldn't cost a lot of money. This video is so inspiring, thank you for sharing.
The observation about putting roof top boxes on the LEFT, as opposed to the right, to avoid low hanging branches really makes sense; that could apply to anything up, or sticking out of, the roof. This is why I watch these videos -every now and then I can learn something really practical. Thank you.
same here
Longest bus ive ever seen. Beautiful job. Always great to have a fire.
They're made longer
I love this. This, to me, is a very realistic bus house. It is lovely when people can take them apart and create something completely new.. no hate, I love those houses, too! But keeping things as is and creating from that makes a lot of sense for many people. The price of this house with the bus included is amazing. Great job. Really lovely.
I usually find that the builds that are done cheaply looks crummy. This one is just great! I’d be happy to live in this bus.
There's one listed locally that the outside resembles this, maybe a bit shorter, an older bus. No plumbing, no insulation and the inside looked very unfinished and what is finished looks poor. Just a half-assed job. They are asking $10k.
@@7Jennifer my point exactly
@@7Jennifer yes, that's ridiculous. I've seen several for sale like that on Tiny Houses for Sale. One bus was 20,000 and awful
I love it! I love the honesty of the mistakes made but accepted and I love the cosiness inside.... this is the best bus in ages - I love it!
Love this build. Very cool that you used reclaimed or recycled materials including things from your family. Such an inspiration. Thank you for sharing your story. Stay well. Safe travels.
To me I love the re-use recycle decor, it tends to really look nice and comfortable. This is very well done.
Get that rusty thing shined up and painted, it won't take long!
That's a really nice build.
I love the drawer for the firewood and i love the way they were able to make a comfy looking couch IN BOTH SIDES! You can very much tell all the love and creativity They put into this !😊👍
How could they not introduce their dog??😄 What a cozy bus. Love all the recycled wood touches, especially the doors and the driftwood handles. I appreciate it when people mention what doesn't work and why. I always say feel free to mention what name brand as well so people know what to avoid if they are doing/contemplating their own build.
They had never seen the dog before.
@@keithbronson9777 awww...hope they kept him
Hello fellow Nova Scotian. I loved the fact you kept it real about all the products you used weather they were good or not. Good interview.
I run my fridge on solar and it actually doesn’t need much! It is a special DC fridge, but it ranges from needing 1-4 amps.
I love this idea. We eventually want to buy a place in the mountains, and park a bus beside a huge deck. We really dont even need it to run...just tow it out to the property. Great video !
My favorite bus tour I’ve ever seen. I know if my boyfriend and I lived in this he would love the natural wood details and the fireplace. Looks so comfortable ♥️
Wow ! That’s one of the best builds I’ve ever seen ! Looks & feels cozy
What a great bus house that you create, beautiful, cozy and warmest interior design. I wish you a joyfu land safe live ,travel time in this beautiful mobile home. Just loved it! Cheers
Epic! I don't know if I would ever be ok driving something this big but would def love to live in one! Great job ✌
that engine is a navistar T444E also known as the 7.3L powerstroke used in ford trucks from 1994-2003. its a great engine. people love cummins but with the shorter gearing in busses a cummins would be revving really high on the freeways and burns up so much fuel once youre past 2k RPM. a v8 is happy to rev and its just as reliable. the fuel system is electronic but very reliable. i dont recommend it but you can run these on WVO and WMO easily since the fuel rails are built into the cylinder heads. it gets the fuel piping hot which helps the bio-diesel or veggy oil stay thin to atomize well.
It looks so roomy inside. Especially the kitchen area. Great job!!!
What a beautiful home and I love how u 2 reused material for ur skoolie, so awesome ❤️🦋🤗!
Beautiful job beautiful home many years of happiness
Absolutely incredible build for that amount of dough! It’s lovely!
🤣 I've been wanting to do this myself. The great thing is I work at a place that makes most every part for bluebird. They only assemble their own products 😂 those knock outs on the front are done after the fact. Many of the parts are scraped if they are like anything wrong like a hole off by .030 😂 that is what welders are for
$12,000 worth of gorgeousness! 🥰 Love it 💞 can't wait to finish mine 😊
The craftsmanship is incredible. Wow, just wow!
Love your home! You've added so much character and it's beautiful!
Cheap, simple, but IT WORKS..! I would do the same.. And they are honest , that's so cool...
Humble people. Good job guys..
I get more ideas from watching the bus remodels than the RVs. Even though I own a rv.
I like this one. A lot of space. I like the pieces of wood. I live the fire. I love that the toilets are not in the bathroom..the bedroom is cool. Good vibes with this bus
P.s. love the driftwood handles & the decor, I think it’s one of my favorite Skoolies!
Beautiful build, you guys! Can't wait to take mine out! Hope to see you on the road sometime!
Really I love it !!! Thank you for sharing.
Honest question, would you guys be willing to build another and sell it?
Gorgeous bus! Looks so homely!
One of the most informative skooly vids ive watched.
great job on the bus im using 8 deep cycle battery on a 24V to 110 5000 watt inverter and only have 6 Ren. 100 watt solar panel but getting 4 more
hope to do what you all doing soon this next year
It doesn't look like you have a damper on your chimney pipe. Adding a damper will also help whenever you are driving. You can almost close it completely when driving a ND the fire won't burn like crazy like you said. It also makes it more efficient. By adjusting your damper and controlling how much air your fire gets you can get your wood to last longer. It's a must add. It will make a tremendous difference
Just being in Nova Scotia must be amazing but add this home on wheels to the mix and it's heaven.
Love the layout. Well done!!! One of my favourites!!
Beautiful job☀️🥰💐👏🏻👍🏻 And great tip regarding the engine 🙏🏻
So pretty, economical, comfortable and cozy, fantastic job done. Great!!!!
So natural, so vintage, so lovable sweet couple! Great! I love to try to imitate you guys~
Nice.. I have 2 of the diesel heaters. Works great. I need to redo my build specially because the costs of lumber makes it harder. But keep it rolling
nice job, i also like the rustic live edge. i build rustic furniture and would do the counter top the same way . thx for the show and info
That was a good idea.. Buying a shit box camper and using everything out of it that you possibly could to build the Bus... Very crafty I must say..
What a beauty and I love recycling!
No Mercedes or Maxforce engines in the bus. I’m taking notes guys. Just roll with it. 🤣
Put your storage on top on the drivers side so as not to be impeded by branches alongside the road.
Figuring out all the solar power, running all the electrical, water storage and everything just feels intimidating... And I do construction
Now that's a price I can live with. Good job all around, guys. Nice bus
Hey you were in Squamish! I grew up there in the 80s. If you return there I’d love to see a little mini tour of what it’s like to live there in a schoolie.
Home Is Where The Heart Is! Cozy.
Functional frugal fun, you guys can’t go wrong with your style
You guys are great 😄 You've done a fantastic job on the bus you should be proud 😄
If you were in a warmer climate, the windows being all open would help.
Very nice rebuild and thanks for all the skoolie wisdom!
I love this! Love that you repurposed and reused things!
Totally off subject, but as a person interested in an alternative lifestyle of living like this and a parent… how creative do you have to get for personal/intimate time? Is it possible living like this with children lol
awesome job on the bus thx Florb!! great as usual
Love the pantry door, the lig with mushrooms, counter top...just lost a of original neat things - great job guys
This is so inspirational and educational I 💙 this
There's really efficient dometic fridges you can probably run off of 1 -200 watts of solar in Nova Scotia. Smaller ones. Not giant ones.
What a beautiful bus conversion, has everything
You guys are awesome enjoy post more videos of your travel and the bus being used
You have a beautiful by send you that a fantastic job you guys had yourself on the shoulders because ain't nobody else going to do it for you. Have a God blessed day
You call that bus a Tiny Home? It's got more space than my apartment!
Nice long bus. Great build. Love the timber
that was huge
Definitely the coolest bus for that price!!!!!
I don't like most schoolie people for some reason but you both are awesome
Love the Bob Ross Painting 🙌
I like his speaking inflection. He could tell me a boring story and it would be interesting.
Yo, the background band is dope af, especially love the piano at last couple of minutes! Really cool couple and awesome "old school" school bus. Extra props on that piano rift at the end. It's familiar, just can't place it.
Lovely build but it must be dicey going round corners or mountain roads I couldn't do it is have panic attacks all the time ...cheers
Nice couple and great build
Congratulations on the bus!!🤙🏼🙏🏼
Nice job! Looks like a great deal of fun!
Everything is so well constructed wow, really great job❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Cozy, BIG!
Very cozy!
I don't typically like orange shades, but this is a very handsome bus
For $12,000 that’s a damn good bus
Wow is so cool. I love the color
🤘😎🤘
kickass skoolie!!!
Wow - this is really gorgeous! Great job.
Neat easy going couple. On the verge of so many puns and jokes but you missed most. Terrific video though.
She long, she strong, she got a hot fire going on 🔥
Love that they are open and honest about the things that they would change having lived in it for a while now. Call me crazy, but why would you light a fire in the wood stove if you are planning to move or drive the bus without putting the fire out?? I hardly think that is smart or even legal on any roads or highway anywhere in Canada or the US. If you have to heat the bus up in the morning and you can't use the diesel heater or wait for the fire to go down invest in a locking/sealed container meant for hot coals and ash and take out anything that is currently burning and move it to the hot can and bank any hot ashes to retain some heat until you can use the diesel heater or are parked for the day and can use the wood stove safely. Another reason why it's unsafe to drive or move the bus or whatever vehicle you're living in and heating with a wood stove is a spark or a really hot fire anand the extremely hot air coming off the chimey even with the cap on the chimey could cause those overhanging trees to ignite as you drive under them. I doubt that you would want to be responsible for causing a wildfire to start and potentially destroying the woods/forest/homes/and potentially causing loss of life to either humans or wildlife. To me that is a common sense kind of thing, but obviously not for some people and age groups. Throughout my teaching career I was constantly surprised by the lack of common sense and knowledge about the things my students were in contact with daily. Yes unfortunately the over use of the various technology, devices and the internet has taken robbed them of that and so many other things that people over 40 have developed throughout their lives. It is mind blowing how dependent the group of people under 40 are on their smartphones, the internet and other tech devices because they can not function without them.
Beautiful! Also looks pretty...Flammable...Hope you stay safe!
Very nicely done good for them ...😊
I love this mobile cabin on wheels❤️❤️💯👍👍
LOL. You sound like me. "Bought this in a damaged box, salvaged this from my grandparent's house, bought this for $10 at auction." You'd be surprised how cheap you can do stuff. Try finding broken pallets -- some places put them out for people who will haul them away -- for short 2x4s and wood for the stove.
Granpa has no doors left in his house by the sounds of it 😂 really good job folks well done 👌
Of course not; it was torn down. That’s why these kids got so much wood and so many doors from it.
Gorgeous home guys, well done.
How about adding a flip down cedar and stainless steel seat under shower head? Might be nice.
An overhang long like that would not be street legal in here Germany.
In words: Overhang from technical/ legal is max. 65% of your wheelbase (2 axles, 70% if 3 axles). Your overhang looks more like 100%!
Cool nice people. Nice bus too.
Amazing bus you guys did an awesome job
