Hi, I like your videos. So keep doing those. Little tip. When advising to remove the master link on a chain it’s good to also point out that it should put back on with the closed end towards the direction of rotation. For you perhaps logical but for others not so much.
Thank you for your video. The 14T makes the bike a little slower i guess. Is there a 13T or 12T that would lower the speed of the bike even more as im 60yo and feels this Monkey is very fast for me.
Oh hi! - Basically I lent it to a friend a few weeks ago and can't get it back till after the lockdown situation. I have a bigger one but that doesn't go down low enough.
Is it safe to ride the monkey on long rides (50 miles or longer) with the RPM's so high? Do you think that will damage the motor? I had the 14t sprocket on a long ride recently and I hated hearing that thing scream the whole way. I liked having the 4th gear (overdrive) in the original sprocket. Should I put the original back on?

A good point! And worth mentioning, thank you.
Thanks for the torque specs. Huge help. Actually doing this today. Nicely shot.
I think you posted the front sprocket bolt torque specs again for the rear axle, my manual says the rear axle should be 44 lbf·ft (59 N·m, 6.0 kgf·m)

Im sure you can get smaller yes, will help acceleration but lower top speed.
May I ask how much of a real world difference the smaller sprocket makes?
Great little video . Do have the issue where your abs light flashes? I tried a speedo healer but it didn't help :-(
Good work , how often do you oil your chain
Not meant to be critical, but if you're going to bother looking up the torque specs, why not use a torque wrench when fastening bolts?

Am I wrong or did you post the sprocket torque specs again instead of the rear axle torque specs at the end there?
yes he posted the front sprocket bolt torque specs again, my manual says the rear axle should be 44 lbf·ft (59 N·m, 6.0 kgf·m)
wow that looks clean have you ridden it
It is - Yes! I've only got around 600 dry miles on it hence the condition.
It would probably have >2000 if this virus hadn't kicked in :-(
@@hondamonkeytv4138 yes I'm with you on that one i have resisted temptation
Is it fit for 2020 Monkey ABS?
Yes, ive had no issues
does the check engine light come on after the upgrade?
No. If anything some people have reported the ABS light coming on but ive not had that issue.

It's fine, just don't sit with it absolutely topped out, screaming.
However its not a pleasant ride at high speeds to be honest.
Will this change affect the accuracy of the speedometer?
hello, i have a monkey 125 and your chain interests me could put you under french title thank you alain france
