Hey, just saw this, so pardon the late reply... I don't think you need to worry that this song has been missed by all Beatles fans. Maybe a few. It has been covered over 150 times. Also, Paul McCartney has stated on more than one occasion (including live at a show I attended) that he feels that "Something" is the single greatest song produced by The Beatles. I agree with you on the "beautiful brilliant" part.

To compete with his volume and him taking over the performance to be the centre of attention. She did an excellent job with Harrison's classic - despite May. Frankly, if he left the musicians to their job and played bass it would have been far better and allowed the singer's beautiful performance to shine. Still what can one expect from this old fashioned prima donna? Time he was tucked up in an old people's home: he was dressed for bed anyway...

I saw Brian play this a couple of times on his tours with kerry Ellis a few years back. These were generally small venues, one I remember well was a leisure centre in Grantham ! Seeing someone of his talent in a 200 seat venue is something I will never forget.

And so many can sing Yellow Submarine which my learned colleague has just informed me that Ringo didn't write 😲 too and I love Octopuses Garden , there is a kind of charm to Ringo's works . I personally think My Guitar Gently Weeps and All Things Must Pass are amongst George Harrison's finest songs and for me Here Comes The Sun will always remind me of how I felt after the winter of 1962 /63 .

Very Nice Bri and Kerry. Since I saw this the first time I ran into all of the Traveling Wilburys videos out there on youtube and was taken at how alike George and Brian are. Both are/were extremely talented singers and guitar players, and both were/are very respectful people, but both who/were highly principled and were not afraid to address critical issues. There are pictures out there of Brian and George together but I have not seen any collaborations with the two of them. If there were none, that's unfortunate. If so I'm sure that Brian looks back at that as a missed opportunity that he would have loved to have been a part of. Who knew that George was only going to be with us for 58 years.... How lucky the world is that we have had Brian for 74 years, and that he is still willing and able to entertain us! Hopefully there will be many more years!

@blacksunfish how can make the guitar sing I can understand, Brian said if it wasn't 4 the beatles there be no queen, Brian wanted to go and see the beatles but his mum said no coz there not the sort but once he heard a particular song he knew this was the best band n a band who laid the foundations for other bands thereafter
