"Wash Away" is legit one of the greatest songs to come out of this scene, even though it was decidedly not very punk at the time to use synthesizers. It didn't matter, the song held up so well it almost makes other stuff from the time seem more dated and juvenile.

When the Bombs crashed at my house in Austin back in ‘97, he was relentlessly hitting on my cute little punkette roommate, and she kept shooting him down. I remember walking out in the living room at one point and he said to her: “I was in Suburbia, you know. It was a counter-culture classic”. She was like, “Ok? I just want to make a sandwich”. Then he lifted up the blanket he was laying under and said “Come to uncle Wade”, haha! I guess he had better luck with the girls in the movie.
I just fucking realized that the singer from D.I. is in the mosh pit at 0:57 which means they probably filmed all the concert stuff at one time and he probably was just enjoying the free live show fuckin' sick
Yes. These kids were not actors, they were real punks that the directer asked to be in the film. The only actors in this film was the black cop and the "citizens against crime". All these punks did their own stunts too.
