hmm... maybe you have encountered police under different circumstances than myself, but in my experience, every time I've been pulled over for speeding (20+ times), they've asked me to hand them the license. Then they take it back to the squad car for processing. Having said that, I'm still not a big fan of this style wallet. ;)
