Well done, it is important to understand the influence the environment and the things within it have on coils, coils have so much more interaction with their environment than we are taught. Can I ask you a favour, could you repeat the test by sliding an aluminium heat sink near the coil as I am certain MTech’s version of the Lasersabers Super Joule Ringer is being effected by the aluminium, if my hand has an effect then aluminium most definitely does also. A good example of coil influence as pointed out by a viewer of mine is the Theramin, a musical device that is played by the proximity of the musicians hands to the magnetic field of the Theramin.
I need to point out the importance of air cores here, the requirement for specific cores has always been the main barrier to advancement in our field, expense, expensive false education and availability discourages a researcher that is curious, our need to have the best is our downfall.
This same logic I apply to meters, in Tesla’s day there were no such meters, just like the special exotic material rods, there weren’t any. I believe these are false teachings, somewhat like blinders on a horse, the horse is allowed to see but forced to focus on a small window of its reality.
Air cores are the way of the future in my opinion, ( I am editing this just to point out Tesla’s best coils were air coils) the same things can be achieved without being beholden to an online seller of exotic materials. With an air core I can grab any wire (except CCA😢) and make it happen today, no waiting, no money required… ah… there it is again, money got in the way of OUR education. The elites telling us what we can know again, rich men north of Richmond just wanna have total control.
I honestly don’t own any of these good meters, because I couldn’t afford them and when you see what I’ve learned without them you quickly start to question if this is just a “slowing the pace” method because we are told we must have certain things and without those things we will never attain excellence so we should just get a job and spend our lives striving for the unattainable.
Thank you for video and allowing my rant.🤣

@whatifididthis...1236 Thank you for taking the time out to view my page As soon as I get the chance, I will run the test with the aluminum.
I agree with you. Keep in things simple and easy to replicate. It's the best way. Thank you very much

The coil size don't matter. It's about the ratio of the wires. Worst core is iron, cause it has a limit for the frequency that will slow down the resonance to MHz. It needs to be able to handle GHz range.
You can find coil calculators online. The primary is quarter wave. Secondary is half wave. Ground reflector coil is full wave with center tap. The ground should be tuned. Bad ground is like jumping in mud, good ground is like jumping on concrete. Well tuned ground is like jumping on trampoline. This is the aluminum mass that is mentioned on other comment here.
It should also have the third load coil similar to joule thief. I'm still trying to figure out the ratio of that.
Air core is also good but it needs to be much larger. Veritasium just did a good video about harmonics, that explains why it's able to amplify the energy, like Tesla magnifying transmitter.
