Thank you! I was wondering how to see a button on with my machine. Just like the one you have. I can't find my manual.

Glad the video helps. I believe you can download the manual free from Brother.

Hi I have the brother ce1100prw. It keeps puckering and the machine won’t read the m foot and won’t sow. Any suggestions?

@@Dulceangel24 I’m not familiar with that machine buy it send similar to what I had. Have you checked other RUclips videos on this particular machine? The puckering sounds like a tension our bobbin issue.

This must be an old model. My nwe CS60001i has the buttonhole foot and thingamajig.

Myles Garcia this is the foot that comes with the Brother CS6000i. I also have the buttonhole attachment. My other machine, the Brother SE400 had a feature on the front for sewing on buttons, the CS6000i does not.

Oops, my bad. I was thinking of the buttonHOLE presser. Sorry. BTW, I'm trying to sew a button hole w/ that Presserfoot A, but the bottom thread (from the bobbin) just keep tangling. And it's funny that the machine doesn't stop when that's happening. Any suggestions how to overcome the tangling problem? Thanks.

Myles Garcia when you have the buttonhole foot on, are you putting the button in it also so it knows what size the hole should be, the button is what makes it stop.

Yes, I did that. I'm also looking at other videos say maybe it's the polyester thread; or the tension (I think 3 is good?); or I think my upper threading got displace. I've had it for tonight. Will try again tomorrow. THanks for your tips, Jeanette.

Stitch length is 2. What about width? Does it matter?

Mia McDermott the stitch length is the width in this case.

I leave them up, it doesn’t/hasn’t moved the button as it tacks on the button.

That's why she was holding the fabric because if you don't hold the fabric, it will still naturally sew.
