For home improvements, I have found a short 12-24" roller extension pole makes rolling paint a million times easier on the arms and hands. Wishing you happy sailing and lotsa helping of animals.

If you have not put the boat back in the water, try mixing ivermectin into a last coat of bottom paint. It seems to work wonders on barnacle growth here in the Chesapeake Bay.

Nice video. I have a 35 foot aluminium sailing yacht which is currently painted, so I will be stripping it back to bare aluminium this year. When you applied your anti-foul, did you primer the surface first? The painting guides I have found so far have suggested primer, fairing, then anti-foul, is this needed with Total Boats paints?
We didn’t because we did primer last season, this paint can go over existing good condition paint. In our boat yard season (season 4) you can see the full process but we did etch primer, epoxy primer and finally antifoul

Is there no possibility to catch the poisonous paint you are scraping of? Or do the marinas have any kind of catchment in the waste water system for that?
We have eco paint that is copper free, so in theory ok for the environment, but the marina does have side drains to try catch the waste too
