😮Thank you for the tour. Compared to other sailing vlogers, your boat certainly defines minimalist but in a wonderful, utilitarian way. What you do for animals is admirable and worthy of much respect. 😊 I wish you joy in all you do and much happiness as a couple. Lastly, thank you for sharing your travels.
Hi guys, found your site recently and couldn't miss Yeppoon QLD on the stern, that's where I was born and still live. My sailing days are now limited due to age limits, till your next post happy sailing and have a great 2024
Pretty good chance you know my family then, my parents were born in Rocky and live in Yeppoon now - Manions, Bakers, O’Reillys, Misztals and Hohmanns are all part of my extended fam!
Hi Dr Sheddy, glad both u and Jim are looking so well. Chuffed is also looking Very nice. Hope 2024 is way better than 23 was for u both. Much love and Respect for the effort u put into saving all animals, they deserve so much love. Be safe, have fun🇦🇺🍺🌞💙
I had a GH2 and GH4, and an Olympus OM1. I used to photograph and video real estate in the Adelaide Hills Hacked GH2 were all the rage for awhile. Thanks for the tour
@@VetTails it blows your warranty, anyway the code is different from GH2 and you have most of the features the hack provided, higher bit rates. + Gh5 has its in body stabiliser which came from Olympus, and GH2 never had they were very wild and exciting days which gave new life to Indy Film crews on a budget
We would love that! It’s the dream if we ever got that kind of funding - be able to take vets and students and nurses etc to remote areas, would be very cool! For now though we plod along with what we’ve got 😊
Just found your channel via SV Delos's lastest video! That is such an awesome boat, lots of space! How does she handle? Do you have plans to leave mexico? Where will your journey lead next?? Sending positivity from Canada
Hi! Thanks for coming over to the Chuffed channel. She is a great boat, lots of space for a 37ft boat. She handles well but is quite light, so we do have to reef relatively early and be conscious of our heeling, but means she goes fast! We plan to be in the Sea of Cortez this season to tackle some big animal projects... after that we arent to sure -we toss up between Carribean and Pacific... or maybe something else entirely!
When sleeping with feet touching it is kinda hard not getting into a feet fight. Did this with my younger brother and by the time the kicking stopped we both were fast asleep.
First of all, merry Christmas & all the best for the new year. Great tour, love your well organized boat. I look forward to what's ahead in 24. Keep up the good work & big hugs to all the animals please. Absolute love what you two are doing ♥️ SV Kiwi Lady Opua Bay of islands New Zealand 👍🏿
Yeh, there is a bit of a risk with it cracking, we will often store on deck in the cockpit too, it’s always hard finding the perfect spot for stuff like that on smaller boats
It's not about leaking, it's the fumes in the heat that build up!!! You need a well ventilated place to store dangerous fluids, i lost a good friend like this, so be carefull! BTW, somewhere into next year i may come to visit you guy's! I will buy your boat and give you a bigger one because you deserve a catamaran. Thank you for what you do, these people with animals deserve a healthy pet.
Hi you two! Have you thought about using a water purifier like the Lifesaver Wayfarer to make your in-board water tank drinkable? I personally use the Lifesaver Bottle and Lifesaver Jerrycan on my 4WD adventures around Australia and it makes water carrying simple as it can filter/purify any fresh water source on-demand. Might be easier than carrying water jugs. Thanks for the tour!
@@VetTails I'm suggesting the Wayfarer as it is designed to draw water from a source, purify it, and then fill another vessel, like a glass or a water bottle. In any case, all the Lifesaver purifiers also have a carbon filter to make the water taste better too. Remember, these products aren't RO purifiers. They won't turn salt water into fresh, but they will purify fresh water so you can use any fresh water source with confidence. I've used it with river water, outback wells, and in one extreme case (because it was super hot and we'd run out of water) a pretty stagnant rockpool which had dead cane toads in it. Never got sick!
Yanmar 3ym30, and yes we do have zincs attached - if you go back to our boat yard videos there is an episode where I talk about the zincs in more details ruclips.net/video/7KKoQj2CWcM/видео.html
Yes, absolutely, was just a matter of what we could afford! Unfortunately we aren't in the financial position to upgrade - maybe on of the big alu boat companies wants to donate one hehe
Very well organized. Comfy and simple. Love what you two have done.
Glad you enjoyed it! We make the most of the space we have

Haha yeh, the boat is minimal, we spend our money on helping the animals and memories instead of stuff. Thanks so much for following along!
nice to hear Aluminium pronounced correctly, lovely boat!
You betcha ;)

Happy new year🎉 what Do you get when you cross a rooster with a duck? A bird that wakes up at the quack of dawn😮😅🎉😂
haha - very punny!

Happy 2024, we are really excited for a year of helping animals and enjoying Chuffed in her fixed up state! Thank you!
Thanks for the tour!... Happy New Year
Happy new year !
Great tour, the location is also fantastic, much love from England xx
It is a beautiful anchorage, we are proud of how she is looking
Merci!
Thumbs up for the return of body-shot thumbnails!
Can you chill pls

Thanks

We rally like the gh5 - significantly cheaper than any of its counterparts with similar quality. Maybe we need to hack it!

Happy new year! We are excited for the new episodes and new season too!
Happy New Year - enjoy sailing
You too!
Happy New Year, All the best for 24....
Thank you! You too!
Merry Christmas. You need a nice Aluminum Cat like a Mumbe. You can have your own operation theater in the one hull. And get into shallow bays easier.

Thanks!

Thank you! Will give a puppy and kitten a hug from you, happy new year!!!
Nice Boat, I suppose your zinks are now well monitored.
Oh yeh, won’t make that mistake twice
Thank you, really interesting & practical. I would worry about storing spare gasoline below & would want it on deck or in a self draining locker ?

What make is the auxiliary engine? Do you use sacrificial zinc anodes attached to the aluminum hull?

Would a 43 or 51 a good length boat better for your sailing about for your traveling vet care? giving. Might want an extra crew?

👍❤❤
What's the draft with your keel up/down?
Noice.
With it up its 3ft, down is around 7ft.
🤠👍
MOC, we all meet somehow.
Agree that round sinks are horrible.
Yeh they're a pain, but seem to be the most common on boats!
I admire you from afar…easy to see that you are a formidable woman….but a bit more wine on board would be good medicine!
Thank you!
She looks like a young hot Susan Sarandon ;)
Oh funny everyone says my mum looks like Susan Sarandon!
