She's doing the right thing tbh, trans rights are human rights, let's not... deal with the bs and treat it like a positive somehow, trans kids and adults need their freedom of expression, it's a fundamental human right and we shouldn't block their freedoms, ya know?

"Mush" evolved from the French "marche", but for reasons unknown to me, modern mushers in Alaska typically use "hike" for a go command.
We say mush to our dogs to get them to go during sledding

The cutting room is JUST AS GOOD as the finished products. A lot going on to keep track of. I usually watch several times.
Louis saying "location, location, location" made me laugh because all I could think about was how there is a Walgreens on every corner on Canal St and then on the other side is a CVS on every corner...and they all have a hella long line at all times
Recently got directed by my mom to the Walgreens opposite a Safeway on SE 15th street. Wouldn’t you believe it, I went to the wrong one.

As somebody who grew up, it made me smile. Although was a little shocked we didn't get it for February as kind of a joke that Alaska vanishes for about a month for Fur Rondy into the Iditarod.

I was in AK '86 - '09 and I wasn't following mushing right away, but I never heard aught but "hike" for a start order.
Thanks for all the cutting room compilations, theyre fantastic. And it makes me really happy to see that Alaska gets remembered so often even if our stuff isn't usually life changing enough to make the final videos. And here's another little bit for March up here: all of us having a minor freak out over how early break-up started this year. Global warming is coming for us.
Edit: Actually one other Alaska note, not for March but if you could put this on a back burner of ideas to tack onto any relevant news in the future that'd be great: Many Alaska Native Peoples still aren't recognized under the fed gov as what they define as Indians, and therefore don't have many of the protections for land and culture etc that Natives in the lower 48s do. It's a serious problem in normal times, but the land thing is getting really f-ing bad for coastal villages because of global warming melting the permafrost and causing the ground to _literally be washed away from underneath them._ So uhm, yeah, if you could just put that on a sticky note or something to add in a video if related news comes up and your Alaska character could mention it... That'd be really appreciated

As a Marylander, this was very relatable. As someone who's mom is from Florida, his utter offense at IHOP being snitches was delightful.
I would love to see one with all of DelMARva & DC shooting the shit w the GOV, and roasting him.
Also, I would love to see all the islands as characters. One for the Keys, one for the Carolinas (find a black guestar that speaks Gullah?), one for Puerto Rico, one for Hawai'i, one for Guam, Martha's Vinyard, the Alaska Islands, Kent Island, etc. It might require some collaboration, but I think it could be pretty funny. Rising sea levels are something they're ALL having to deal with.

As someone from Boston, I can speak to both the annoyance and importance of the restrictions. The trains and rails need to be updated and inspected, but also a 10 minute ride between Harvard and Central on the Red Line is very difficult to work around!

So I never get tired of telling this story: My girlfriend is a lawyer in Rhode Island. A few years back the state tried to confiscate a "vulgar" license plate (a Tesla plate that said "FKGAS"). The owner of the Tesla hired my girlfriend's firm and they sued the state over freedom of speech. They won, and the state's reaction was to not allow ANY new personalized license plates until they could figure out a way to prevent "vulgar" plates without getting sued again. Y'all, it's been YEARS and they still haven't figured it out 😂

As a Bostonian.. the speed restrictions are stupid.. its making trains over crowded to not be late for work.. No one expects the maintenance to actaully BETTER the system and we're already used to the Green Line going off rails... its just an annoying inconvenience for commuters
And this is why I will never go to Boston; the commute is basically one big dice roll heavily skewed toward Nat 1s.

They challenged each other to a game, and both were decent when they were young. Youngkin played basketball in college, Moore played football in college but was recruited for basketball. There won’t actually be a game, the governors don’t have the authority to make that deal. The FBI chooses the location based on their choice of the two pitches.
