A nice scenic ride quinn the bike seems to handle nicely. I'm currently torn between 2 or 3 bikes to return to two wheels but the himmy is a major contender and I love the look of it.
I'm on a Transalp at the moment its too heavy for me and I'm just looking for something lighter that can do a bit of everything. This bike seems the ticket, cheaper insurance, 320 miles to it's 17l tank, can do motorways, can off road, cheap official parts and dealership is 5mins from work. It's looking very positive
Nice to see you out enjoying your "road of death" on the new Himalayan Quinnster. The bike sounds quite nice and I notice that you don't have the flickering dash issue that Itchy Boots had when she rode one. Looks like they must have changed the screen refresh rate on the production models, which will be a great relief to all moto-vloggers who intend buying the 452. Looking forward to trying one for myself but as previously mentioned, the 411 most likely suits my needs better than the 452 👍🏻 For anyone who rides their Himalayan mainly on the roads, the 452 should be a worthwhile upgrade ( plus you don't have to spend the 500-1000 squid to kit it out with all of the off-road bits, thus making it a bit of a bargain ! ). I'm just relieved that you didn't drop it or have some such other calamity. I was worried about that. I wonder why ? 😂 Good job buddy and thanks for the ice cream guide 👍🏻 Garry & Ruby
Thank you Gregor! The issue I'm seeing is that the accessories are not available in full until September time I think, they are out in 3 stages I'm told and no one has any idea when that will be 😂😂😂 will be interesting 😇
@@RRRRefuelRideRace they said 3rd week in April, so another 10 days I hope. I will ask for it to be sent direct to the ceramic coating so a day or two there in addition. Just remembered I need to do my insurance too 😂😂😂😂
It's all about the Ride and having no better Bike ta boot than Himalaya.. 452 has the crack. Stunning that whole area.. keep telling myself.. must head that way from South Staffs.. one day, whether, weather permits and a Summer's Day even exists..! Martin, Moorland Biker recons on seeing me there, has to happen just turn left, was that right a Ashbourne..! 🤔..
thanks for commenting on my channel and brought me over to see what you are doing on two wheels. of course mine is two hobbies, and many want the pipe or the bike. but i will keep making it a multi hobby channel. you are the first channel i have subbed that has a 450, and will be interested in knowing your opinion. i was to buy a Himalayan or a KLR last year but my injury took me out of that purchase. so this will be wonderful to see you opinion.
Hi Blake! I normally watch on the TV at work so can never comment! Saw you pop on my phone about your first Guinness and was a great vid! Would be interesting to get your comparison on the gold leaf we sell here and see how it differs? I'm curious but haven't gotten around to it yet! I've had an old klr650 for a few years when I used to live in south America. The klr had power there but it was slower, heavier and not as eager as the 450. The 450 feels well built and is more agile, also lighter steering than the KLR. The klr can be loaded up with quite a lot and keep on chugging! Had hay bales and sheep on the back of mine and it chugged on. Not sure the 450 would like that! If I could I'd get one but it was my first big bike and I did so many crazy adventures on it I'm nostalgic! But would be interesting to see how they compare. Thanks for watching and take care 😊👍🍦
Always welcome here my friend, looking forward to seeing you up this way. Hopefully this time being able to stop in places for longer! Take care and ride safe 😊🙏
Woops, saw that mistake after I published it! Gold star mate for catching it! One of my favs too!! Especially the view from top of hill after the bridge 😍 as long as there are no horse boxes or tractors in front 😂😂😂
Interesting, had few transalps over the years, 3 to exact. Loved the machines, but preferred my old 94' 400 over the 650. I really like this new Himy and thinking about it.
I feel exactly the same way! I've tried the 600 and loved it but had the 650 for almost 3 years now. It's going to be replaced by the 450. I needed something lighter, cheaper to run and newer! I can't wrench or fix things so it has to go. Try one and it would be interesting to hear your feedback 👍👍
@@quinnpeaksbiker I will see it on my local bike show a week from now .. On the other side of Europe 😁. I was test riding the CRF 300 Rally two years ago.. Was ok, but too soft suspention and needed upgrade, so it was too expensive... If I only was 50 kilos 😁
Dips, bends, drain covers and slimey surfaces. All these things keep it interesting 🙂 Nice ride Quinn 👍🏼
I was worried half way up when I thought, hopefully I don't drop this! Maybe wasn't the best thing to do 😂😂😂 thanks for watching!!
That new Himalayan can handle anything (like the original but quicker!) Nice ride Quinn 👍
Thank you for watching ☺️👍

As a proud Derby born and bred guy,its great that the world can see our fabulous county, although the road surfaces are pretty crap.Enjoy your rides.
Thanks for watching duck! It's a brilliant county an love it to bits! Nearby or moved away Neil? Take care and stay safe ☺️👍

A very nice ride bro. The new RE that you bought is gonna be a great bike in my opinion. Just take care on the road. Cheers. :)

I get. How long you have to wait for the bike delivery?

It’s actually the B5056 you turned on to half way up the Via Gellia - One of my all time favourites 😀
