You will not find a bad song in their discography. They can all writhe and play piano plus the instrument they play here. Miyako the dark haired guitarist is the main writer she is also the main piano player/keyboardist (Classical pianist) and she also plays bass and drums as well as the Chelo. Asami lead vocals writes most of the lyrics. Madori the blonde guitarist also plays piano and writes some songs. Haruna on Drums is a co founder and also writes. Miho now the former bassist and co founder was also a writer for the group before she left just a few months ago.

LOVEBITES is a relatively new metal band formed by leader Miho (base) in 2016 and made a major debut in 2017. Before the pandemic, I mainly performed music activities in Japan / UK / EU. They have already performed at major metal festivals around the world, including WACKEN OPEN AIR 2018, and in 2019 they took part in the Dragon Force UK tour at the invitation of Herman Li. They are an adult female metal band (all almost 30 years old) with 80's metal & classical music DNA and R & B / soul voice.
They define themselves as lone wolves fighting metal stereotypes and use wolves as their trademark.
Asami (vocal) intonation has a habit, so it is easier to understand if CC is turned on at first.
They have live material on RUclips that solidifies how Excellent this 5 of a kind band really is. You wont find a better new band writing and playing PowerMetal than LoveBites. Every song,every note is Perfection and then Live they up the game even more.

Well it seems that you have been seriously lovebitten, too. Welcome to the mind-blowing world of Lovebites. These women are extremely talented, skillful and exceptional musicians. They have influences from Iron Maiden, Slayer, Metallica, Judas Priest, Deep Purple, Dragonforce, Helloween, and even Gary Moore but they have been developing their unique style. Some people say that they are redefining metal. It’s recommended to react to their live performances because they really shine at it. Lineup:

It’s very often the case where a band sounds better in music videos like these because they can record until they get it it right. However, LOVEBITES are one of those extremely rare bands where their live concert performances are actually FAR better than their own music videos. Look for and react to their “Swan Song with Chopin Intro” where Miyako opens and shreds a classical piano piece, gets on guitar, then closes the song again on piano. She is a classically trained and world class pianist having learned piano since age 3. All of these ladies are intensely professional musicians and you will not be disappointed adding them to your reaction rotation. Happy trails!

Great reaction video. My the first love bite was the song Shadowmaker. I love all the songs from this fantastic band from Japan. They are an incredible band. They are one of the best metal bands today. Choose any song from this band and you will still be amazed at their immense musical talent. Heavy Metal Never Dies!

Welcome to the best new metal band to come along in decades. In their five years of existence as a band, they set a standard that easily puts them on a par with the greatest bands of metal’s golden age. Other reviewers have described them as alien superheroes disguised as young women, angels sent to save us, princesses of metal, and angry bridesmaids. Whatever the description, I think one can say they have given metal a badly needed makeover and maybe a new lease on life. They have themselves said that part of their mission is to save heavy metal from darkness and obscurity. Some background:
They were formed in 2016 from the remnants of a legendary all-girl Japanese metal band called Destrose (yes, all-girl metal has been a thing in Japan since at least 1981). Miho (bass, chief headbanger and soul of the band) had a vision of a new band in the style of the greatest European bands of the golden age of metal. She recruited her former bandmate Haruna (drums, 4'9" “pocket nuclear reactor”); they needed two world-class guitarists, and so they went and found Midori and Miyako, who were with other bands. The whole group then found Asami, the singer, who was doing soul and blues at the time (she also trained in ballet). Miyako has composed most of their music, with Miho composing a lot of their thrashier songs in collaboration with Mao, the lead composer of another band called Lightbringer. Midori has also been getting into the act, and they regularly perform a song written by Haruna as well. Asami writes most of the lyrics.
They studied all the great historical metal bands going back to Purple and Sabbath, through Maiden, Priest, Metallica, Helloween, Slayer etc. They toured with Dragonforce in 2019, and word from those in attendance is that next time around, it will be the ladies headlining. They have incorporated some of the best of each of those bands into their arsenal, and have created a sound that is fresh and cutting edge while paying tribute to the old masters.
This is one of their usual first songs for reactors, and rightly so--you get a good sense of the band. They do everything from soulful power ballads to heavy thrash. Almost every song includes face-melting solos by Miyako and Midori. The two guitarists are quite different in style and tone. Midori (blonde ponytail) is the extrovert and speed demon; Miyako is the introvert, with the more soulful feel (though she can also shred like a demon). Midori uses a cleaner tone, Miyako uses more distortion, pinch harmonics and pedal effects. The contrast makes their duets rich and dynamic. It doesn’t hurt that either one can smoke most of the shredders in the classic metal bands. As another reviewer said, "It seems criminal these two are allowed to be in the same band."

Hellooo Pandora. This is the best heavy metal band created in the last 20 years, in my opinion. Just react to them and you will find out why. .You will be left with your mouth open many times. Japan is so underrated when it comes to music.
Pretty sure you've already heard Babymetal who in many ways opened for many other bands because of youtube algorithms and such. It was one of those who lead me to Band-maid, then a few months later Lovebites. My recommendation is Band-maid - Domination live 2020 or "Blooming" music video.

"Cool" and "Insane" are a good start to describe the insanely talented ladies of Lovebites. They wear their femininity proudly and don white dresses and high heels (they play LIVE in them) to stand out from other bands and to seen easier on stage as they are all petite (only Miyako black haired guitarist breaks 5'). The singer Asami at 4' 10" thunders over the flawless music behind her even though she never sang metal till she joined this band, she is an ex-ballerina and backup RnB/Jazz/Soul singer. Haruna/drums at 4' 9" is a runaway mini nuke who plays like this for an entire concert without breaking a sweat. The guitars are polar opposites who blend together perfectly especially LIVE. Midori/Blond is the extrovert (smile to light an arena) Shred/Flash Queen who dropped out of Pharmacy school at 20 to learn the guitar. Miyako/Dark hair is the introvert musical savant and Melodic Queen who is a classical pianist who picked up the guitar at 18 and self taught to play. Together they are the best double lead duo playing, especially LIVE and when they harmonize while picking, sweeping and tapping at insane speeds while in perfect sync it is something to experience.
