ALL systems protect their abusers, especially the most powerful ones, whether it be in entertainment, politics, corporations, law enforcement, religion, sports, or most any other community. People at the top of these hierarchies almost always circle the wagons to protect each other, because a lot can ride on the system's clean image and it's ability to stay powerful, relevant and/or make tons of money. Abusers thrive within this institutional protection. It gives them a safe arena to abuse with impunity while their associates either stand by and do nothing (often out of fear) or actively enable the abuse. I'm glad for this movie, hopefully it will serve to educate, but we must remember these issues are ubiquitous, historical and ongoing, and not relegated to Hollywood alone.
People with absolute power abuse it. We need to change our society so people with power don't have the ability to wield it against others, like Harvey Weinstein, the CIA, many police officers, and so many others have done for years.

Mulligan is fantastic. Constantly chooses intense roles. She also has a fantastic voice. I greatly appreciate she doesn’t do the annoying upspeak as many Americans do. Mulligan is a great narrator for audiobooks. This film looks fantastic. This topic is so important and I hope people aren’t getting sick of it. (Hell yes Jodie Comer doing Prima Facie!) The cast is top shelf in this.
