never heard of plano edge untill I watched your tackle organization vid and now I'm seeing them everywhere and having vids pop up all over !!! is it a sign to get them 🤣
I just got two of the terminal tackle trays. I think I will like having them. Nice thing is I can mix and match items as needed and have what I need in just the one tray. The only other one I can see myself getting is one of the Flex boxed to fit some Walleye fishing stuff like bottom bouncers and spinner rigs. Most of my stuff will still go in the regular waterproof plano trays as I don't see the point in paying extra for things that already work in what I have. I almost always take 1 of the hydroflow trays to keep lures that I used that day.
I absolutely love the Plano Edge tackle storage system. It really makes my OCD so very happy. I can not afford to change out all at once but I am slowly getting a new box when I can and I am loving every one of them. You did not mention it, but the jig box is my favorite.
I just bought 4 different Plano edge boxes!! Absolutely love the jig one so far. Organizing AND adding a spinner Plano box part and inserting into the jig so that way I can hold my spinners, buzz baits and jigs. Rockstar video dude!! Thank you!! 🎣🙌
I have the terminal, flex and regular Edge 3600 boxes as well as 4 3500's for pan and ice fishing. lol I ended up getting a Flambeau spinnerbait box and use the Edge spinnerbait box for my meds (yes, a lot of meds!)
The edge boxes are my favorite, I have the terminal, one for jerkbaits, one for squarebills, one for lipless cranks, one for medium deep cranks, and one that I keep empty and load up with whatever I want to bring with me for the day wading a creek, beating a bank, or out on the yak.
I got the real big one for my kayak. I have been looking to get a terminal one I think you just sold me on one. Next week is my birthday that’s what I’m asking for. Great videos
I bit the bullet and bought a few of the 3500 flex boxes. I did a dunk test and can confirm that these boxes are not watertight. I submerged the box underwater for a minute and water got in. I made sure the latch was correctly latched, and repeated the test, same results, a good amount of water got in. :( Luckily, I only bought a few of them.
I love my Plano Edge boxes. I have both the 36 & 3700 terminal boxes and 5 of the 3700 slims and 1 regular 3600 am looking to add more. I was lucky and got most of mine from Gander Outdoors for 50% off while visiting my brother in Tennessee.
I absolutely love the edge boxes and have just about fully switched over. Only one I don't use yet (not sure if I will) is the soft plastics box. Great for organizing in my bass boat
I’ve got a few of the 3600s. My favorite thing is the multiple divider locations so there’s less wasted space. I really wish there was a good option for keeping spins and inline spinners organized in the 3600 size.
I love the Plano Edge Flex. Replaced the Buzbe as my main day box. I love the Buzbe too but I think the Flex is just a little more adaptable and has greater storage capacity. Only small thing I don't like about the Edge series is the big single latch. Sometimes it just doesn't line up and I have to fiddle with it a couple times to get it to latch securely on both ends. Not a big issue though, just a small annoyance. I think I am going to get one of the 3600 Edge terminal boxes. I like how slim they are. As a bank angler I don't need to have a big 3700 on me. I agree that it would've been ideal for that first row to have notches for dividers, but I don't mind that fixed long middle section too much. Seems like it could be useful for misc utilities/tools like dye markers, wacky tool, tube of superglue, maybe a couple slip bobbers if I decide to do some crappie fishing. Stuff like that.
Watched a lot of the videos on the Edge products they sounded great. I bought the 3700 terminal tackle box because they said the tackle stays in the compartments. Well it does not. My items still mixed. Not worth the money.
Still on the fence with these. Probably because I have so many of the older waterproof boxes. (which aren't even fully waterproof) Maybe you can do a dunk test video to see just how waterproof these Edge boxes are? Also a follow up on the durability of them.
Front slot in the 3600 terminal box you could put a wacky tool or 2 with the different size orings. Do you ever find that the latch don't catch completely on your boxes?
Spro terminal vs edge terminal? And i guess i shouldnt be scared to throw all my lures together huh? They dont scratch each other up? Forget havin to shakem up.
How does the new 36/3700 edge boxes handle musky sized lures? I use 4 of the classic 3600 boxes in a backpack for musky shore fishing, im wondering if these new 3600/3700 edge boxes are worth upgrading to?
Here is a Fact.. The Edge boxes are much heavier than a regular box. So if you plan on carrying alot of gear with these boxes be prepared for the extra weight that they add. If your on a boat where you don't need to carry these boxes they work great. They do add alot of un needed weight though if you carry them around
You have issues with those latches? I have 8 of thier boxes and a few boxes don't close because the latch won't grab both sides. I need to make sure I use both hands evenly close while pushing the latch.. also I keep unopened packs in the big long area with a pair of clipper and bobber stops, stuff like that.
Great boxes, but the whole silica gel thing is a gimmick. Its not enough gel to cover a large container, let alone one that's being constantly opened and closed in a wet environment. Hell i have to use pounds of that stuff just to keep a few spools of hygroscopic 3D printing filament dry.
Are you using any of these Plano Edge boxes?
All of them
The only one I don’t have yet is the terminal box.
I just got the Plano edge jig and waiting for 4 different Plano edge boxes from Amazon. Absolutely loving it!! 🎣🙌

I have 8 edge boxes, very happy with them

Amazon has most of the Plano edge boxes on sale for around $20 for anyone looking. The terminal tackle is the most expensive at $32 for the 3700 size.
3700 xl bag on Amazon $215.95. Edge 3700 STD $56.41. $498.00 Canadian to expensive.

Put your wacky rig tool in the long area in the 3600...I have all my tackle in edge boxes
Dude! So smart!

I have been wanting the terminal box. I'm sure I will get some by spring. 🐟
I absolutely love the edge boxes and have just about fully switched over. Only one I don't use yet (not sure if I will) is the soft plastics box. Great for organizing in my bass boat
Fun fact..the 3700 slim and 3700 terminal tackle boxes will fit and can replace the standard clear boxes in the 7771 big box
I’ve got a few of the 3600s. My favorite thing is the multiple divider locations so there’s less wasted space. I really wish there was a good option for keeping spins and inline spinners organized in the 3600 size.
I have a ton of EDGE boxes, but the one I’m most excited for are the micro series.
Gotta try one of those for my terminal box. I’m constantly changing them out and never really happy with my set up.
I may buy one of the plano edges
i just got the #plano terminal boxes (3600 and 3700) and omg... like yessssss
Watched a lot of the videos on the Edge products they sounded great. I bought the 3700 terminal tackle box because they said the tackle stays in the compartments. Well it does not. My items still mixed. Not worth the money.
I'm sure you already know this, but the dividers in the medium size containers in the terminal box are removable
Still on the fence with these. Probably because I have so many of the older waterproof boxes. (which aren't even fully waterproof) Maybe you can do a dunk test video to see just how waterproof these Edge boxes are? Also a follow up on the durability of them.
Not really made to be submerged. More so for if you get caught in the rain your stuff wont be rusty
$300 of Plano edges is like 3 boxes lmaooo good vid man
Front slot in the 3600 terminal box you could put a wacky tool or 2 with the different size orings. Do you ever find that the latch don't catch completely on your boxes?
I'm a sucker for sexy organization. Fighting the urge to replace all my resonably priced cabellas brand boxes with these ones lol.
I will be ordering me some for next year the lure locks are not as good as I expected
For me they are being that they are made in the USA LITERALLY down the street from me! :-)
Spro terminal vs edge terminal?
And i guess i shouldnt be scared to throw all my lures together huh? They dont scratch each other up? Forget havin to shakem up.
They don't scratch up if they have a clear coat. That said, we mash everything together in there and haven't thought twice about it for years.
For the bottom of your terminal box they sell little containers for bullet weights
Is there a bag that works best with these boxes that you like?
Always used the bass pro shops tackle duffels
Those boxes look really nice but man that price point is killing me 😅😅😅
Will the Plano jig box hold the 6th Sense Divine jigs and the scrape grass jigs as well? All these jigs without trailers of course.
Yes, I have them in mine
@@aaanglers they won’t bend the weed guards when you close the latch down, right?
Nope
@@aaanglers thank you very much!!
Do you think the terminal box inserts would fit in a regular 3600 Plano edge box?
No, they are smaller
How does the new 36/3700 edge boxes handle musky sized lures? I use 4 of the classic 3600 boxes in a backpack for musky shore fishing, im wondering if these new 3600/3700 edge boxes are worth upgrading to?
I mean, it depends on the lure, you may need a deep box for some.
What do you like more the Edge or the Buzby? Or does each have there place?
Each has their place. My Plano Edge collection is my go to all storage solution. Buzbe is great for day box applications
@@aaanglers I agree! That’s what I use the Buzbe for is my kayak day box
None yet!
I started using the edge boxes last year and will never buy anything else again. They are expensive but worth the money
Time lapse vid on how fast it dries
Use em exclusively
What is your favorite crank bait?
All of em… big fan of 6th sense cranks though
@@aaanglers ok thank you so much because I don’t have any crank baits so I needed suggestions
@@aaanglers I got some Gary Yamamoto
Why can't you drop shot Michigan rivers?
Not sure if illegal, but youre not supposed to
Like carrying a suitcase to a tournament ! Trust me there's Pro's that won't use them !
Great boxes, but the whole silica gel thing is a gimmick. Its not enough gel to cover a large container, let alone one that's being constantly opened and closed in a wet environment. Hell i have to use pounds of that stuff just to keep a few spools of hygroscopic 3D printing filament dry.
Still prefer Meiho system and for less
Never heard of that
I just wish half the top wasn’t covered by a stupid logo
If they only would make them in another color besides that ugly ass yellow
The latch system is terrible imo
