I think fullbring bankai ichigo is relative to bankai yamamoto. Why? It's simple. Kubo explains that royd copied 70-80 percent of yhwach's power. Base royd without even using his sword was able to keep pace with shikai yamamoto. Shikai yamamoto was unable to even land a hit on him as shown in the anime. Even after activating bankai, bankai yamamoto was still unable to land a hit on a royd who doesn't even have access to yhwach's full power, until he uses zankano tachi south to inflict mental and psychological damage on royd was he able to use zanka no tachi north to finally hit royd. Bare in mind that royd didn't even show anything yhwach was capable of due to him just being shocked. An exhausted fullbring bankai ichigo was able to fight and even damage the real yhwach even if he was holding back. The real base yhwach at that point in the story is an enemy on the level of bankai yamamoto (of course base yhwach progressively gets stronger than that as the story goes on before he gains the almighty). The point is, the real yhwach thought royd with 70% of his power was strong enough to handle yamamoto till he ran out of steam and he was correct. An injured and exhausted ichigo was able to hurt that yhwach. His spiritual pressure is on that tier of power but his lack of experience and techniques is what holds ichigo back. Back in FKT, ichigo had more spiritual pressure than shinigami Aizen. This is true because ichigo was able to sense Aizen in his transcendent state while other captains couldn't. Like I said before, what holds ichigo back is experience, lack of techniques and refinement

His peak in FKT should be around Shikai Yamamoto levels, which greatly shows how his fullbring training and reishi sword absorbtion allowed him to gain such an amp. Royd lived as long as Yamamoto wanted him to live. The entire battle was Yamamoto bullying Royd to vent his grief over losing Chojiro and his anger at the current state of the Seireitei. If Yamamoto had retained the same mentality he had in the past, he would have no-diffed Royd in base. As shown by him perception blitzing Royd to rescue Kenpachi. Yamamoto moves forward, takes Kenpachi from Royd's hand, and then gently puts him down on the far side of the courtyard, all before Royd even notices he'd made a move, and Royd was looking right at Yamamoto when he moved. Yamamoto could have taken Royd's head then and there. Yhwach's plan in the first invasion was to psychologically break the new, soft Yamamoto so that he'd use Bankai. At which point, Yhwach could steal it and use it to kill Yamamoto. This is why he ordered the Sternritter not to engage Yamamoto until his return. But he underestimated just how well his plan would work. He didn't expect Yamamoto to take the initiative and attack them. That's why he mocks Yamamoto for wasting so much energy on a subordinate and ultimately didn't even need to use the stolen Bankai.
Ngl, I genuinely didnt know Ginjo was that powerful. I thought he was a mid tier at best but after I "Read" the CFYOW novel myself I began to realize Ginjo was much more powerful than expected. And this video does make a lot of sense as well. Wasnt familiar with Ginjos game, definitely top 10 for sure.

I think the main problem, is people kind of compare Ginjou to sensui from yu yu Hakusho. Sensui was waaaaay stronger then yusuke, while the second Ichigo got his soul reaper powers back, he kind of clowned on Ginjou to be honest. It left a bad impression. Ginjo was still, just a normal human, with a normal human body. Remember how Hiyori got bisected by gin? Yes, that shit doesn't fly for humans in bleach, so Ginjou got cut down relatively easy, if Ichigo didn't do it, kenpachi would have, relatively easy. So Ginjo honestly isn't that strong.
What do you think about tsukisima knowing about dangai ichigo and later inserting himself in that fight. Personally i think it's kinda a big deal fot at least the ballpark of power there all in.
Ichigo would be so much more powerful if he learned kido, proper kendo and that hand to hand martial arts displayed by yamamoto. With all that proper training ichigo would be even more op.

CFYOW really is a joke in regards to power scaling.🙄 The likes of Ginjo, Zaraki, Urahara, Mayuri and Kyoraku were playing it cool to NOT steal the entire show. Ichigo and most of the beloved cast were out of town and distracted by an unknown turmoil. Some low and mid tiers exchanged some blows but not really battles worth mentioning.
The fact that tsukishima implemented the memories of ichigo's battle with aizen is evidence that they know about Ichigo's power when he went to soul society to fight aizen. They have many ways of obtaining this knowledge. There's also the fact that when Yhwach stated that ichigo had regained the power he used to defeat Aizen, the manga shows an image of ginjo, meaning ichigo had regained that power in the fullbring arc. When Unohana said ichigo had the power of a captain, she also says that she was under the impression that Ichigo and her were on a similar level of power, implying that in Ichigo's weakened state he has spirit energy on the level of unohana, and this is with less than half of his normal spirit energy, which would be less than 1/4 of his power.
This is my opinion before watching the video. Base Ginjo scales to Tsukishima who scales above FB Arc Byakuya and to Complete FB Ichigo. This scales Ginjo ridiculously above Yammy who a Pre TS Byakuya scales to with just his Bankai on defense mode, but puts Base Ginjo on the same tier as Shinigami Aizen, as Complete FB Ichigo scales above Striped Mask Ichigo from FKT who inflicted actual damage on Aizen to the point where Aizen complimented his Reiatsu….More damage than Yama’s point blank self sacrificing Hado 96 mind you And in CFYOW, it was stated that in an unknown time before the main story, a healthier Jushiro vs a weaker Base Ginjo would’ve been a 50/50 fight that neither was sure would survive Fullbring Shikai Ginjo with Ichigo’s powers scales to or slightly above Fullbring Shikai Ichigo, who is relative to upper mid to low end high tier Sternritter like Quilge in his Vollstandig state, with his only issue being Quilge’s blut amped durability And FB Bankai Ginjo (and by extension FB Bankai Ichigo as Ginjo didn’t do any training in between the FB Arc and CFYOW beside *maybe* training Ganju a bit…which might not even increase his capabilities and otherwise was stated to have been wandering the Rukongai and drinking/hanging out with Tsukishima and Giriko the whole time…) scale to these Soul King+ tiers of power that Hikone scales to And if we’re getting controversial, in the manga when Yhwach said Ichigo regained the *elevated power he used to defeat Sosuke Aizen* (which is specific in talking about a level of power and not his Shinigami powers in general), a panel showed Ginjo, referencing the Fullbring Arc and the final battle of that conflict was done with that ‘elevated power used to defeat Sosuke Aizen’

The ones to say he’s weaker are his performances against Quilge, Base Yhwach, and Jugram, though I’d argue that he wasn’t anywhere close to going all out against Quilge, he was weakened and injured by spamming his own full powered Getsuga’s at ‘The Jail’, draining his stamina and getting damaged from the point blank explosions of attacks that exceed his own durability vs Yhwach, and was weakened even further when Jugram broke his zanpakuto, on top of Jugram maybe using the Balance to break it And for the arguments for him being stronger….they really stem off of Yhwach’s line about the ‘elevated power used to defeat Sosuke Aizen’ taken to the highest interpretation meaning Mugetsu, as well as arguing that the Fullbringers did also witness the battle between Ichigo and Aizen via either being in Karakura Town or Yukio’s surveillance, but this is a lot harder to argue But I do believe that Ginjo didn’t get much stronger, if at all between the FB Arc and CFYOW. So FB Bankai Ichigo > Non Rage Amped FB Bankai Ginjo ~ Hikone >= Weakened Soul King With the databooks saying 4th Fusion Aizen = the weakened Soul King and 5th Fusion Aizen surpassing the weakened Soul King, with Dangai Ichigo being superior to both of these versions of Aizen, and FB Bankai Ichigo being superior to Hikone and Ginjo if we scale them relative….It lines up with FB Bankai and Dangai being in the same ballpark But not everyone agrees with Ginjo not getting stronger between the FB Arc and CFYOW so there’s that
@ I believe either Ginjo got stronger through training, or he was mentally nerfed when fighting FB Bankai Ichigo. The reason why I believe he got stronger through training is because Tokinada states Ginjo has come far in mastering the powers of a hollow. Ginjo could’ve mentally nerfed when fighting Ichigo is because he possibly could’ve realized he wasn’t actually betrayed by Ukitake after Ichigo gave an explanation for why he trust the Shinigami

Becoming a candidate is huge thing and both Ginjo and Hikone are recognized as ones only after they amp to the Max. Ichigo meanwhile passed irazusando in base without his swords and prior to Sq0 training (which gave him a lot if we take Askin scene as reference) He also wouldn't have the same potential at all. Ichigo has royal blood which is the 2nd biggest potential boost in bleach, has White as his hollow (who at his weakest pushed Ishhin who is insane himself) and also has pure Quincy blood on top (which Ginjo doesn't have) and is glazed for it by Juha. Ichigo is basically top tier juice from every race put into one

This scales Ginjo ridiculously above Yammy who a Pre TS Byakuya scales to with just his Bankai on defense mode, but puts Base Ginjo on the same tier as Shinigami Aizen, as Complete FB Ichigo scales above Striped Mask Ichigo from FKT who inflicted actual damage on Aizen to the point where Aizen complimented his Reiatsu….More damage than Yama’s point blank self sacrificing Hado 96 mind you
And in CFYOW, it was stated that in an unknown time before the main story, a healthier Jushiro vs a weaker Base Ginjo would’ve been a 50/50 fight that neither was sure would survive
Fullbring Shikai Ginjo with Ichigo’s powers scales to or slightly above Fullbring Shikai Ichigo, who is relative to upper mid to low end high tier Sternritter like Quilge in his Vollstandig state, with his only issue being Quilge’s blut amped durability
And FB Bankai Ginjo (and by extension FB Bankai Ichigo as Ginjo didn’t do any training in between the FB Arc and CFYOW beside *maybe* training Ganju a bit…which might not even increase his capabilities and otherwise was stated to have been wandering the Rukongai and drinking/hanging out with Tsukishima and Giriko the whole time…) scale to these Soul King+ tiers of power that Hikone scales to
And if we’re getting controversial, in the manga when Yhwach said Ichigo regained the *elevated power he used to defeat Sosuke Aizen* (which is specific in talking about a level of power and not his Shinigami powers in general), a panel showed Ginjo, referencing the Fullbring Arc and the final battle of that conflict was done with that ‘elevated power used to defeat Sosuke Aizen’

@@shonenkon2456In my personal opinion, I think they’re at least in the same tier. There’s some arguments to argue that he’s stronger and some to say he’s weaker. The ones to say he’s weaker are his performances against Quilge, Base Yhwach, and Jugram, though I’d argue that he wasn’t anywhere close to going all out against Quilge, he was weakened and injured by spamming his own full powered Getsuga’s at ‘The Jail’, draining his stamina and getting damaged from the point blank explosions of attacks that exceed his own durability vs Yhwach, and was weakened even further when Jugram broke his zanpakuto, on top of Jugram maybe using the Balance to break it
And for the arguments for him being stronger….they really stem off of Yhwach’s line about the ‘elevated power used to defeat Sosuke Aizen’ taken to the highest interpretation meaning Mugetsu, as well as arguing that the Fullbringers did also witness the battle between Ichigo and Aizen via either being in Karakura Town or Yukio’s surveillance, but this is a lot harder to argue
But I do believe that Ginjo didn’t get much stronger, if at all between the FB Arc and CFYOW. So FB Bankai Ichigo > Non Rage Amped FB Bankai Ginjo ~ Hikone >= Weakened Soul King
With the databooks saying 4th Fusion Aizen = the weakened Soul King and 5th Fusion Aizen surpassing the weakened Soul King, with Dangai Ichigo being superior to both of these versions of Aizen, and FB Bankai Ichigo being superior to Hikone and Ginjo if we scale them relative….It lines up with FB Bankai and Dangai being in the same ballpark
But not everyone agrees with Ginjo not getting stronger between the FB Arc and CFYOW so there’s that
@ I believe either Ginjo got stronger through training, or he was mentally nerfed when fighting FB Bankai Ichigo. The reason why I believe he got stronger through training is because Tokinada states Ginjo has come far in mastering the powers of a hollow.
Ginjo could’ve mentally nerfed when fighting Ichigo is because he possibly could’ve realized he wasn’t actually betrayed by Ukitake after Ichigo gave an explanation for why he trust the Shinigami

I mean considering he did train it's entirely possible he reached new heights of power comparable to TYBW ichigo, and he pretty much has similar if not the same potential as Ichigo
@sphera4147 again I'm not disputing him being a soul king candidate, my problems come from him being relative to Ichigo. Becoming a candidate is huge thing and both Ginjo and Hikone are recognized as ones only after they amp to the Max. Ichigo meanwhile passed irazusando in base without his swords and prior to Sq0 training (which gave him a lot if we take Askin scene as reference)
He also wouldn't have the same potential at all. Ichigo has royal blood which is the 2nd biggest potential boost in bleach, has White as his hollow (who at his weakest pushed Ishhin who is insane himself) and also has pure Quincy blood on top (which Ginjo doesn't have) and is glazed for it by Juha. Ichigo is basically top tier juice from every race put into one

I'm not necessarily saying Ginjo is relative or as strong as peak Ichigo, obviously current Ichigo beats Ginjo mid difficulty at the absolute worst. I'm just saying Ginjo could've trained and gotten as strong or atleast close to TYBW ichigo which is still technically not Ichigos strongest form, Ichigos strongest is during hell arc.
And I can see your point here, Ichigo does have more potential, but Ginjos potential is still pretty similars to Ichigos the only difference is he isn't a Quincy, but it's still insane potential nonetheless.

@sphera4147 this still doesn't make sense when the time span between fullbring and TYBW is around 2 month at Max, and when the same applies to TYBW -> CFYOW time skip. Ginjo doesn't have much training to do outside of refinement while Ichigo (someone who already low diffed him) went though a whole a$$ enlightenment to reach TYBW level of power
And I reiterate but those 2 (Ginjo and Hikone) had to go through a max amp to do something that Ichigo did in base without his zanpakuto and before sq0 training. Ginjo being comparable to Bankai Ichigo makes 0 sense here
Ginjo IS at the level of Ichigo and have more battle exp. yall forget he has also all 4 races just like ichigo does. Im willing to bet that he is way more powerful now than when he was as a human in his soul form.
