I think we need more late game rooms entities, one of the reasons the rooms is SO BORING is that EVERYTHING the rooms has to offer gets laid on you in only the first 250 rooms, they should add like an A-500 or smth to make things not get stale so fast
I feel like the length of rooms is the main problem of the rooms, sure adding new entities would make it a bit more interesting, but you still have to walk for 2 hours, which isn’t very fun. If you wanted to make a game that has to be beaten in at least two hours, with very little breaks (because Roblox kicks you out for being idle for 20+ minutes), then you’d need to add A LOT more entities that change up the gameplay, because dealing with just one or two extra entities, for every 500 rooms, or even every 250 rooms, is still REALLY boring. Also keep in mind, you need to get to somewhere around room 60 in the hotel, to even reach the rooms subfloor, which sometimes takes someone like me 30 to 40 minutes to reach, which makes dying in the rooms VERY unsatisfying, due to wasting all of that time trying to get there in the first place. My suggestion would be to add new rooms, the further you dive into the rooms, the rooms start to change shape, and sometimes, these new shapes could lead to unexpected surprises. Or maybe some of these deformed, strange rooms could boost you closer to the end, skipping 5, 10, or even 20 rooms, getting you closer to room 1000, this could make the whole walk not take an absurd amount of time. on paper, adding the rooms subfloor is an interesting idea, but literally just remaking the entire game, with barely any new additions, gets REALLY boring. The only other idea I have that could make the rooms subfloor less tedious, is by allowing players to just go there directly from the lobby, instead of having to go through 60 rooms in the hotel, just to reach the rooms subfloor.
@@mrchugbug9735 I think it would be cool if they make the rooms endless like they were in the original game, add new stuff, and make a leaderboard for the players who has made it the farthest. And yeah, I really like the idea of ways to skip a bunch of rooms but if they did that I think it would only be fair to replace the A-1000 badge with a new badge since it would be a lot easier to get to A-1000 and players who did it before the update should be rewarded imo.
The problem with something like A-500 is that if you are going in blind, halfway through, and a brand new entity shows up that you have no idea what it does and you die to it, that would really suck. There is a reason to why most of the entities shows up in the first 250 rooms. So, in my opinion I think they should just add more entities to the early rooms and then add other stuff like new items and rooms the further you get, as to not let the game be the exact same thing over, and over again.
@@TheVoidBuster yeah, I feel like if they do end up making changes to the rooms subfloor, they should just create a new challenge for it, that doesn’t involve holding W and listening for entities for 2 hours. One idea I have is to give the rooms subfloor 2 different objectives that can be achieved. Objective 1 could be to just see how far you can go in the rooms, you could go past A-1000, and your best record would be put on a top 20 list of players who made it the farthest in the rooms. Also, the room skipping idea I had would be scrapped for this, so players can still earn the badge, and those who already got it won’t feel like their work was for nothing. Though I still think the idea of the rooms changing shape, or having interesting layouts, and surprises would be good. The 2nd objective could be to stop the entities from haunting the rooms subfloor. There would be items scattered across the rooms, you can pick them up, but you have no idea what they do… however, there would be hints in specific rooms, that tell you how you can use the items to stop the entities from haunting the rooms, and once you use these items, the rooms will be from the entities haunting them, you’ll find a door that leads back to the hotel, and in front of the door, is the NCVS-3000. Once the entities are defeated, you won’t be able to progress in the rooms, you’ll be blocked, and forced to go into the hotel again, this is so players won’t be able to effortlessly go through all the rooms to reach A-1000, without dealing with entities. For objective 2 I would say it should take somewhere in between 300, and 400 rooms, before players get all of the items, and figure out how to use them, and free the rooms. If the player is very experienced, and is redoing the challenge, it should take at least 200 rooms for them to be able to finish it.
@@mrchugbug9735 I really like this idea. But just so you know the NCVS-3000 is being removed from the rooms and replaced with some other reward. (All existing tablets in rifts would be turned into this new reward) I think it's because the NCVS-3000 was originally a scrapped item that they just threw inside the rooms as a reward, so they would actually like to make a reward that makes sense for the rooms. I am sure it will still be available in Jeff's shop in Super Hard Mode and it might be reimplemented in the future.
Imma be fr and beg the doors devs to actually make the tablet obtainable from the prerun shop once you unlock the A-1000 achievement just like what pressure does
Since Rooms is getting reworked, I hope A-90 gets nerfed. People who don't have a godly reaction time are screwed. It is single-handedly the worst entity in the game imo.
I hope the A-1000 badge stays for people who have it if it becomes unobtainable. I don't know how I'd react if I only had it for 2 months before it got deleted
@cutestcreeper569 I'm sorry to say this but you have a skill issue. A-90 is very easy, we can react pretty quickly, so it must not be nerfed at all, you can develop your reaction time.
I can understand your frustration with A-90 but the entity doesn't need to be nerfed. There is no doubt that it is very difficult but with enough practice you can consistently dodge it. I'd reccomend practicing dealing with A-90 using the "Stop Right There" modifier if you unlock it with the "Back On Track" badge before attempting A-1000.
To be fair i think rooms is kinda boring with a-60 a-120 and a-90 because i already know how these entities work and we definitely need new entities for rooms you know
I hope they revamp the rooms sublevel because it becomes *_SOOO_* boring after rooms 200-300. If they're going to revamp it, they should add more to the horror factor, like for example making the entities slightly more intimidating, with one influence being Rooms Remastered. And they should add a little more entities to the mix, but not too many to the point where it becomes a clone of Interminable Rooms.
I still think the locker monster being a-150 would make more sense than a-30, even if hide like monsters spawn earlier there could still be more entities though
It would be cool if the multi monster starts being more aggressive and using new strategies as you get farther into the rooms so they don’t have to stray from the rooms concept
i had a pretty cool idea for doors where you go to a-1000 and you can choose between the tablet and a key similar to skeleton key you go back to the hotel make it to the end put the key in the rift start a new run and then use that key on door 1 instead of the actual key and you have rooms monsters in regular doors along with the usual doors monsters and a-120 wont spawn like he usually does since theres no 120th door but figure gets replaced with a-120 in room 50 and 100 and a-120 can see but is also a slight bit faster than figure and if you beat it you get a badge and the ability to buy the tablet at the start of each run for 1000 bronze coins (idk what its called) this will be really really difficult since youre gonna have to find blind spots and lockers to avoid a-120
An idea for the new update for rooms: the candle and crucifix will not be light anymore and you would now use the crucifix on A-60, (probably A-90), and A-120. (Scince you cant have an item equipted in the locker, you wont be adle to crucify A-30)
Honestly if y'all just search up fan-made doors entities you'll see some pretty cool ones. But I actually have one that could work for the rooms or just the base game call the mimic where you need to watch what you're picking up like if you see a crucifix where a crucifix shouldn't be like on the ground or in chest rooms well if you see leaking and audible drowning in chess you should not lock pick it
It could also function like the locker creature in pressure rather than hide. disguising itself as a fake locker and forcing the player to potentially have to go back a room or two to survive the threat.
