i think curious light is just trying to see how quickly you’d learn entities from pure trial and error, the backdoors is significantly harder than the rooms and its “end objective” is also the only one so they add levers and accelerating potions to make you less likely to ragequit guiding light is, well, a guide and just teaches you upon dying, with their main focus being your survival

i think that the third red light is being contained in the rooms by curious light and curious light wants you to get out of there in case the third red light actually finds you and the reason he is asking you to come back is if you escape you will get the tablet and i think the tablet will be very essential for side quests in floor 2 and these side quests are made by curious light and if the tablet is essential he needs for you to have that tablet for you to come back and i also suspect that the third light is trying to turn into an entity stronger than figure as a-60 is probably the third light shaping into human form and curious light knows how dangerous he can be in physical form and that is why curious light is containing him, i dont the modifer that brings a-60 into the hotel is lore related and its just for fun.

Malicious Light (will call it that) is definitely aware of the entrance, and even adds another barrier when using modifiers, so we may assume they also were responsible for locking The Rooms, and therefore (according to your theory), keeping Curious Light out. Guiding and Curious likely knew each other beforehand before he got trapped by (potentially) Malicious Light. He can’t open the door because of the skeleton padlock, which judging by how it disappeared in a flash of light, definitely does seem to be a spiritual lock.
@@iinanomaniac6746 that is true, the architects may have created the hotel, but you need to take into account the "celestials" that are stated on the binding circle when the player uses the crucifix. in the latest doors episode from game theory, they state that when the crucifix is used on an entity the binding circle has this rotating text in windings and it translates into: "One of the three architects marked by celestials assists you." obviously this is referencing that guiding light is assisting us when we use the crucifix but the real point i'm making is the "celestials" in question. celestials are often refered to as "cosmic beings" with "magical powers" so, who are they? did they create the hotel? why did they "mark the architects"? maybe they created the hotel and tasked these architects to take care of it? i dont know. if these celestials did actually create the hotel and tasked the architects to take care of it then it is completely likely that guiding and curious didn't know each other until we unlocked the entrance to rooms.

ok here me out. i think that if you're in a limbo, then there might be some kind of "rules" where the light entities can't help you too much bc you're supposed to escape the limbo yourself and the guiding light is only allowed to help you not carry you. Curious light might be scared to give out hints bc its not his job to do that and he could be punished. I think the people in charge of this system are the celestials mentioned in the crucifix. I know this theory doesnt have enough proof, i cant find any evidence against it so tell me if this theory can be debunked.
The "curious" in Curious Light has another meaning. The second meaning to the word is generally, mysterious.
