It already matched the performance of an RTX 2070 with around 8900 points in time Spy out of the box and maxed out at 9800 points with my OC to scrape at a 2070 super. Everything without getting warmer than 69 degrees, normally working between 65 and 67 degrees. 3060 is a great card with amazing OC potential. Just be aware that your OC potential depends on you custom model. Try to grab a card with a powerlimit at at least 190 watts. The higher the better. Cause my OC is clearly limited by the power draw.
Did you raise the core volt? I have to raise it 25mv i have at this time +130 on core +1200 on memory and a 53c temp very stable on all the games i have

Fuck ultra lol what’s the point, just know you can comfortably game on a 3060 ( or 2060 super for that matter ) so if you’re struggling to find the card you want 3060 is not a bad placeholder. You can usually find them pretty easy
What CPU? I can never reach that FPS. I use 1400p dlss on balanced and no rtx on digital foundry optimized high settings and i get 60 in cities most of the time and like 70 80 anywhere else. If i Use RT i drop to 40 in some situations easily and average fps drops by 10-15. I have RTX 3060 Gigabyte OC, Ryzen 3600 and 3200mhz 16gb ram. Game is on SSD and I am using GOG release.

Interesting. I have the 3060 Aorus Elite and the clock speeds stick well above 2100mhz but I can't get it 100% gaming and rendering stable past +150 +700ish. Maybe stock clock speeds are that much higher. Power limit on the card goes up to 140%. It runs as well as my 1080ti and very, very close to my 2070 super. For 400ish bucks its a good card.

@@daily5795 i have the nzxt kraken M22. It's a single fan AIO and i use it as exhaust. Temperatures are fine so far. I tried to mount it in the front of the case but its a 120mm and the rest of the fans are 140 and its kinda bad looking. As far as i dont have temperature problems I leave it on the back as exhaust.
Fans are the first things to have problems on a good conserved videocard, I let mine on auto and it stays at 60º- mining and max 70º gaming pushing to max, the fans are chilling at 32% mining and gaming idk actualy but rarely the fans get loud.

I cant overclock my rtx 3060 ventus 3x 12g oc by overclocking the mem clock...i can overclock the core clock up to 120mhz (2130Mhz) (Not more, warzone and other Games are Crashing at 130mhz) and my Games Work fine. As soon as i overclock my mem clock up to 10mhz my Games are crashing immediatly...i cant See any Performance Boost with this 120mhz CC either...

Well, I applied +200 +1000 to my 3060 and now i got artifacts in games. I did test that in kombustor and temps was like 70c. Any advice how to reverse this?
@@hatty101 nah, its alright. return oc setting to default, will fix the artifacts. if artifacts show up, you just need to tone it down your oc setting.

roughly 6 to 12% increase in performance.
I made around 11-15% more performance with 10% more power draw and 3-5 degrees more heat
