- There are many techniques you can use to escape the knee ride (aka knee mount or knee on belly) in jiu-jitsu, but this is a high percentage one that leads you directly into some very dominant leglock positions like the backside 50/50 and the 411. Taught by Rob Biernacki, the creator of Modern Leglock Formula and Cutting Edge Leglocks - check out these instructionals so that you can tap out a LOT more people and finally become comfortable playing the leglock game: www.grappleart...

Is this work in mma? Opponent can punch
If your opponent is in kneemount in MMA then you screwed up a long time ago and will eat some punches no matter what you do. That being said, if you do this very quickly you probably won’t get hurt too badly and can potentially end up in a fight finishing position
@@StephanKesting thanks Stephan👍
who knee rides with their posting leg so high up like that
It doesn’t matter where the knee is. Give it a try
Hey Stephan, Im only blue belt, but when I knee ride, as soon as my opponent extends his arms like that I'll be swimming for the underhook and head north for a Kimura or spinning armbar. Or am I missing something?
He's showing it in slow motion so the class get it, when doing it in practice he'd be doing it much quicker which would mean it would reduce the risk of being arm-barred or such like. That's my take anyhow. As with any technique, try it for yourself, test the results.
