Very nice! Comparing the same exact jar of honey with and without the wood lid do you get enough extra at the cash register to actually pay for your time, materials and equipment? A hexagonal lid would be good for those with arthritis. It’s a great looking item I just look at things from a cost versus reward standpoint.
Thanks Ross. These honey jars are taken to the markets. I make a fancy swing tag label that contains all the required information and charge a premium for the product. People are quite prepared to pay for a nice jar that is well presented. My materials costs and labour are covered in that cost. As the lids are larger than the standard metal lid, they are very easy to remove which would be a real advantage for those with arthritis.
Well done. A good man with many talents. Looking forward to seeing next clip. Cheers.
Cheers Rick. A couple of beekeeping bits and pieces to come if I can figure out how to present them.
Must be good honey.
It tastes like gold😉😉😉😉
