Queensryche at its best!!! They'll never be the same without Tate and DeGarmo
True that!
Well said!!!
right now they are better than the last 15 years with Geoff. The Verdict is their best album since Mindcrime
"Tate and DeGarmo" sounds like a law firm....If you've been brainwashed by a political radical and convinced that cold-blooded assassination was the way to move the country foward...you may be entitled to financial compensation.
Do you or someone you love suffer from Metal Theleoma?
Omg....never. Never ever!
DeGarmo is a guitar god!
and now he's a pilot
This sounds absolutely unreal for being live. Listening through my atmos phones. The sound guy at this show was a god. This was the height of Queenryche. Ugh so awesome
Livecrime is an incredible video to watch over and over ! Very well done !
Catch them on tour soon, if you get the chance!
Sorry, no. It is,not the same band without the 2 fundamental members.
These guys don't get the credit they deserve. Unreal music with an incredible message.
I was there! Awesome Concert!
At their peak right there. An unforgettable live band. Geoff and Chris are truly missed and I’m thankful I caught them on the mindcrime tour
he's struggling to hit the Notes. Was this the best?
Eddie's bass is bumping in this video!!! Such a great rhythm section in this band.
Those chord changes are pure fucking magic!
In their prime. Will never sound like this again.
levansRS a classic
Nobody will ever sound like this again.
Now this is Queensryche Scott Rockinfiend on those Tama kit great times!!
I liked Queensryche back in the day, but looking back I truly realize that they were freaking awesome! I think I like them more now! Amazing stuff!
Totally agree. I was def into them back in the day but even more when I listen now..sick band. Ahead of there time
I agree Chad. Todd has brought the magic back that has been missing the last 20 years of the tate era
Agreed the new Queensryche can’t compare the this pure talent
I seen this band live after I came home from Iraq. 1991. Live MindCrime was awesome Geoff Tate has an incredible voice. I read that his Aunt sang opera so he must have been listening. One of the best concert ever for me, and I have been to so many . Rock on!!
I'm not much on debate but MINDCRIME was just pure genious. Whoever would've thought that a concept album would have so much great music.
When I heard Qrÿche was following up "Rage For Order" with a concept album, milk in the highschool cafeteria flew from my nose..."Oh, that's just fucking GREAT...another KISS/Music From The Elder self-indulgent ear-fuck." That abortion was still fresh in 1988.
...and then I was proven deliciously, magnificently wrong.
like The Wall
Geoff Tate... what an underrated vocalist....
He was rated in top 10 a few years ago...
probably the best album/cd they created and playing the entire Operation Mindcrime during the Empire tour was unforgetteable for me
operation mindcrime to this day is still one of my favorite stories to listen to...
Agreed! Mindcrime, Abigail & Seventh Son are mine :)
jimmy shine what was the set list?
Tate is just phenomenal - there is no match to his vocals.
That bass line 😱
This is why Queensryche has to be considered elite. I was 17 when Queen of the Reich came out and told all my friends that the band would become Monsters in time.
I wish I was 17 or 18 years old back in ‘91 with tickets to this show! I was only 11 at that time. Tate is a very talented vocalist!
70, 80, 90's - The time without autotune.
Do you believe in Love?, well I Don't !
This version of the song is SO hardcore, just gotta love it!!!
This is the best Queensrych performance ever. Absolutely flawless. But when Chris Degarmo left the band so went Queensryche. Their just a shell of they're former selves now.
they rocked the dam arena's back end 88 to 91 best progressive metal group ever especially Chris degarmo and Scott they killed it Tate voice was priceless
...... what happened to Queensryche(?)
They broke up
More like rocked it from 84 to 91 🤘😎
17 people still believe in love
Lol
Suckers
One of the best ❤
what an amazing singer
I've seen them live in Poland in 91
Chorzów stadium.
Do you notice the difference between the concert back then and today?
No massive barriers before the stage.
The crowd is right at the stage and the performers can actually interact with them physically.
I saw Judas Priest from front row center.
Also saw Iron Maiden from 3rd row.
Motley Crew from 6th.
It was great to be that close for those great concerts. Of course I had my share of nose bleed sections too. All were great concerts, but I think part of the magic is gone, no matter where your seat is, if there is this huge space between the band and the audience.
From MI., this morning what a kick ass video first time I've ever saw this video weekend Morn today in MI's ❤️ Isfree
Hell yeah for sure tonight's in Milwaukee ❤️ Isfree
About 4 times louder would be cool i miss the music from home
Saw them twice on this tour, Michael Wilson and Scott Rockenfield came down to the bar in the hyatt after the Rupp show and hung out with us at our table
Saw this tour in May of ‘91, on my birthday! Best birthday ever!! Phenomenal!!
I'm always seeing comments about how great the new Queensryche is, in videos where they're playing "the pool stage" on a rock cruise, or some casino.
I'm not sure how anyone could view this video, and still see the current Queensryche as anything but laughable.
wow, they are so good live, lots of bands suck live, live version sounds just like studio, amazing!
Goosebumps every time... wow what a band!
SHIT!!! I WAS THERE AND I JUST FOUND THIS VIDEO! THANK YOU! These guys we're huge back then...Wow. I'm 56 now and I'm getting tired just watching this! 😆
Queensryche playing in front of packed arenas...... those were the days I wish I could experience...... was born too late unfortunately
Yep what a Brilliant Band that i was well aware of as brought Empire when released Down Under here in Perth Western Australia - but never saw Live 🤔 pretty sure they never Toured here
I wish Chris DeGarmo didn't leave the band.
He was one of the best guitarists the world has been gifted with.
I remember when they announced that queensreich would do a tour playing the whole operation mindcrime album!
Amo!
🤘🏾
few years after the empire album came out,and the next album with the tune ''disconnected'' on it, cant remember the name of the album,, but about 3 or 4 hours before showtime here in milwaukee, a radio station was outside of the arena/ auditorium giving away tix to the queensryche show that night
Operation mindcrime one of my favorite albums track for track
what a time to be alive.
Geoff🔥him voice, just WOUAH 🙏so wonderful 💕I’m listening this year 2021, older and always great 👍 Ex: Another Rainy Night💕magnificent , but Geoff... no Hairs😂💕👍
Great concert, I was somewhere out there in the crowd in Madison, good times... \m/-_-\m/
DeGarmo!!!!
no words for this song. thank you queensryche!!
This band was so good.
this is probably my favorite song ever and it so is my bother Michael Patrick DAiello.. I miss you, Mike I remember so much of you I always will and I will remind those who love you , like your daughter Trinity DAiello.
I can't imagine the amount of time and practice that went into doing those 3 part harmonies with headset mics BEFORE in ear monitors were really a thing. Basically just flying blind and these guys are nailing the harmonies every time. Definitely a lost art.
Tate said he and the band went for vocal training/coaching early on in the band's existence. He was already taking lessons before Queensryche but had the rest of the band see the guy who was teaching him.
The YES fellas were awesome at that.
This is the greatest song ever written
epicness period
The GREATEST metal album of all time ! Hands down...
Perfec perfect perfect. 🤘🎸👍
bums me to see this fire gone, I mean a new flame has arisen but how it all went down it's a sad thing, I'll always be a fan no doubt, and Mike Wilton is still my fave guitarist to this day
I got some marillion Phish - era vibs right there at the start, am i right'?
YEAHHHHHHHH Sing it Baby!!
A Better Band of American Heavy Metal all times
MASTERPIECE!!!!!
I love Queensryche! Especially Geoff Tate!!!!
thanks for the memories
This song is way better in concert
@MrStoney2011 Tate has 4 octaves, but later he stoped to use his highest pitch. Like most of the best vocals out there. You can hear it in newer versions of their songs. Sad but true. Real respect goes to him because here, playing live he still keeps the pitch high, and most vocalists today playing live change a bit the melody just not to strain themselves. I'm afraid that is how it works. And yes...of course people grow old.
Queensryche 1992 was just like modern rock they were so good i dont beileve in love is one of the best queensryche songs ever
Wow, great energy in the crowd 🤟🎸
SUCH a great song!!!!
\m/ \m/
LOL! Man oh man, how that would be a beautiful reunion!
Bass heavy!!!
I saw this tour back in Vancouver 91. Good memories.
Believeing in love is the best
Fucking awesome!!!!
Masterclass out of this world band the original line up was the best
@einarabelc5
watched queensyrche here in milwaukee about two years ago. he was still all about his voice and the message/ had a us soldier come out during a toon and really celebrated him. good guy.
yeah thanks for explaining what i just watched and clearly understood...
I rmeember going to this concert, empire /Operation Mindcrime san diego OMG it was the best concert i'd seen ever. I always loved this band love Goeff Tate. just an increadible band!
I saw this tour twice in SD, once at the Sports arena with AC/DC and again at Balboa park.both times were AWESOME
Esto es demasiado perfecto para ser real. Lo de Queensryche es de otra galaxia.
There’s nothing better then believeing in love
i used to have many drunken arguments with my mates debating which was better - Operation LiveCrime or Live after Death - the argument could never be settled! 😂🤙
..i do believe in Love..and love this song!
I was there! It was AMAZING! Thank you for the memory!
You know, if Geoff Tate wore that get up now he'd be called a hipster...think about it. Love this band :D
This brings back so many memories. Thank you so much for sharing!
@robinsonpro8 you are so right! they remain one of my favs of all time. their approach to hard rock was different than any other group of that era! love em!
Semplicemente Fantastica 🎸🎸🎸
I love this song and this video!
I can't believe Geoff is in his sixties now.
Thanks for putting this back on. Great song from a GREAT album.
SIN DUDA QUIZA SU MEJOR DISCO Y MEJOR FORMACION....ROCKKK
Vamos Tate
@cristianrockstar hell yah man! Geoff Tate and Bruce Dickinson are the greatests singers of all time! and their voices are as good today as ever!
Totally agree, without Geoff Tate and Chris DeGarmo it ain't the same. Like seeing the Stones without Mick and Keith or Led Zep without Plant and Page. DeGarmo leaving was the beginning of the end.
@Audiolaboratory Correction. This band IS so good! Theyre just as fucking good and spot on today as they were 20 years ago.
i don't believe in love significa non credo nell'amore....
Chi crede nell'amore???
chi ci credo è un illuso.....
Grande geoff tate....... sei il miglioreeeeeeeeeeeee
Great old times
What an great band, when you think those kids in audience are 50+ now...
Man this song and concerts I saw them play this live was the absolute best ever 🎸
Chills!!!!
