I don't think this is a very valid concept since there really is no Lebanon in any meaningful sense. The government, to the extent there even is one, is paralyzed and utterly ineffective, the Lebanese army, the "official" one, is in even worse shape and likely not even capable of standing up to even a medium sized civil police force, let alone a standing army.
The only thing within Lebanon of any consequence at all is Hezbollah and it does not get its funding from, nor take its marching orders from, any entity within the Lebanese state. If Iran gives the go-ahead for a war against Israel, or even gives its blessings for one, it'll happen and no one connected to the nation state of Lebanon will have any say in the matter.

There is a very significant part to this as well. There was of natural gas discovered on disputed sea territory between Israel and Lebanon. Israel gave them up in exchange for continued peace. but if Hezbollah continues to escalate this, Lebanon essentially aren't holding up their end of the bargain and it becomes disputed again and Lebanon will pretty much completely lose it.
Oh yes I heard about that on Tom Nash. Israel agreed to give up rights in exchange for peace, and the project would help the Lebanese economy. Its the one positive thing for it, and this war is putting it in danger.
Lebanon is still technically at war with Israel, and I think this had to be negotiated through third parties!!
Israel didn't give up on anything, it was Lebanon (with a corrupt political class) that ceded part of its maritime rights. Check the previous demarcations in 1949 and 1982-1983 (the closest point to a peace deal), with both demarcating the border at point 29. This sparked outrage in Lebanon because the ruling Hezbollah, its coalition and the president signed this deal, probably for pesonal gains.

They're Iranian proxies. Their gripes are Iran's gripes + leftover grudges from 2006.
Hezbollah views its conflict with Israel and the Jewish people as religiously motivated. The history of the Arab-Israeli conflict to them is a repeat of the negative interactions between the Jews of medieval Arabia and Muhammad and the early umma described in the Koran and other classical Islamic texts. God, according to Hezbollah theology, cursed all Jews as blasphemers damned for all time and throughout history.[17][18] Hezbollah, as well as the political/religious leaders of Iran, believe that the destruction of Israel will bring about the "reappearance of the Imam (the Shiite Islamic Messiah)".[19]

You could've mentioned who was responsible for the Beirut port explosion: Hezbollah.
There has never been a war in history if neither side wanted it. You need at least one side to want war. The “Accidental escalation leading to war” thing is just not real.
You can be forcibly manoeuvred into warfare, even though you didn't desire it. This can come from poor or false intel, non-state actors, or political opposition. For the first example, the Soviet Union and US did not desire to turn the world to molten slag in the cold war. However, we nearly came to nuclear annihilation on several occasions, due to equipment failures that led to one side falsely believing it was under attack.
For the second, The US invasion of Afghanistan was not a planned affair. However, the Al Qaida attacks on the Twin Towers meant that terrorism operating out of Afghanistan could no longer be tolerated. This is in spite of the fact that neither the US nor Taliban had previously desired or planned for invasion.
Thirdly, we can look at the British response, under the Gladstone administration, with regards to the Mahdist revolt in Sudan. The Gladstone government was a Liberal government, and therefore strongly opposed to interference in foreign affairs and empire building. However, the tragic last stand of the Egyptian Governor-General, Charles Gordon in Khartoum, whipped up a frenzied call for revenge amongst a section of the British populous. Under the threat of a new Tory government, under Benjamin Disraeli, coming into power, Gladstone reluctantly sanctioned British involvement. Again, neither the Mahdists, nor the British Government had any particular interest in going to war with one another at this moment. However, other factors forced the two sides into mutually opposing positions.
Not really true. All it takes is for both parties to have crossed red lines.
@@levifowler7933 nope, name one war in which both sides didn’t want war and still happened.
Pretty much true. Albeit, I'd change that to the leaders/those in control of nations, and not the nation itself. Whilst a large part of a nation could want war, it's not always true. I highly doubt 50%+ of Russia was chomping at the bit to invade Ukraine, for example.

We don’t want one
You forgot to explain the cause of the political deadlock. Due to the agreements that ended the civil war, and created a power-sharing system. There must be a Christian president, a sunii prime minister and a shi'a speaker of parliament.
They aren't the ones pushing for a war though.
No
But they enable it.
? hezbollah started attacking israel on october the 8th
Realistically speaking, the Lebanese government for what it’s worth has zero to no say at all in this matter. If Hezbollah want war they will get war and there is no way for the Lebanese govt or the Lebanese army to stop them. It will of course be a complete disaster for the country and that’s the real tragedy

Pasta ssempa: DEEEPAARR!
lebanon no, but hisballla has pockets. i hope hisballa wont drag the civiliansof lebanon into a conflict with israel. when it comes to war, the idf is ruthless
I'm confused, does Lebanon allow Hezbollah's army on its territory or is it just not powerful enough to remove them?
In the past it was the first option but then hezbollah ruined it's reputation by their actions in Syria so now it's the second option.
No they did not ruin nothing. The world cant take how powerful they are now. Truth herts hard
Well who says that the Lebanese army is the one that goes to war
Lebanese people, what's your opinion about Hezbollah?
Truthfully this was be a war against Hezbollah not Lebanon. I can imagine the other Lebanon political parties letting Israel and Hezbollah duke it out and take themselves out.
So it would probably cause a famine hezbollah and hamas would blame on Israel then?
Weak ≠ innocent!
It is funny to compare the 2006th war (in reality only a limited operation) with today's situation. In 2006 Israel had a tops of 30k soldiers fighting in Lebanon. In the morning of October 7th alone the Israeli government approved the call-up of 360,000 soldiers in addition to whatever they already had. In case of a full scale war with Lebanon it will be at least 500k. Hezbollah also came a long way from 2006..
Lebanon, iran, china, north korea, russia = same, same
Lebanon can't afford a war with israel... in 2006 too
Lebanon won the war between Israel in 2006. You're clearly delusional.
what if Lebanon split in 2? south and north
No
very likely to happen (the south being occupied by israel)
But Hezbollah is like the mafia, they are not part of the State of Lebanon. It's like a militia inside the country that the gov't has to accept because the people like them a lot, from my understanding... I might be wrong.
They liberated southern Lebanon from the biblical theocracy Israel people love em a lot
You misspelled nazi-regime (about the biblical theacracy)
Yes, with the addition that they’re themselves part of the government, as a political party and with political allies. There are also staunchly anti-Hezbollah parties (to a very radical level), so the country is ungovernable, and not de-centralized enough for each region to do its own thing (though that’s how the private sector, which has essentially replaced much of the state, functions). Ever since the agreement that ended the Civil War, power is very divided. Before, the (Maronite Christian) President had a lot of power. Today, not so much.
@@MrMalmir😂israel got into lebaanon because palestinian militias attacked israel from there while hiding among christian and shiite civilians. thats why the christians attacked them, and also the shiites of amal(during war of the camps). in 2006 hizbullah dragged israel back into lebanon after kidnapping 2 israeli soldiers. israel razed half of south lebanon and the dhia in beirut. since then hizbullah embezzled the coffers of lebanon and parked huge chemicals container ship in beirut port... btw - how does lebanon have more religious freedom than israel? lets hear it .
@@user-we4ih1tp7n
You're so brainwashed the Zionist regime targets civilians because they bible says so and 2006 was a major defeat for the regime and there's no evidence party of God had chemical in Lebanon port that's a claim by collective west.
Lebanon is like that meme where the boy riding a bicycle and puts a stick between the wheels only to fall of as a result and then blame someone else, in those case the boy is Lebanon , the stick is attacking Israel and they blame Israel.
That is true but the issue is hezbollah is a non state organization the lebanese military/gorvenement never attacked israel
At this point Hezbollah is Lebanon and the inaction of the Lebanese government doesn't absolve them of the responsibility of what happens in their territory especially if they attack another nation. @@kingmaa4102

can you talk about the Jordanian economy
What happened with the Jordanian army
Gazans are suffering from Hamas as is Lebanon from Hizbollah and Israel from Netanyahu and his minions. Extremism is always bad.
There is a great difference, Netanyahu was elected by democratic elections, you can hate him or love him, but he is not a dictator. Hizbollah is a tumor inside Lebanon, a terrorist group supported by Iran which is much stronger than the Lebanese Army. Hama-SS won democratic electiones in Gaza after Israel withdraw from there, and then formed and islamic state, you have to understand, Gaza was a Palestinian State, and they destroyed their state by their own hands, instead of create institucions, trying to improve the life of their citizens, who are also guilty for voting Hama-SS. What we can do, there isn't democratic tradition in the muslim countries. Daniel from Israel
it’s not israel vs lebanon, but occupied southern lebanon vs israel ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ the other way around works too lol
Just printing more money, and down into hyperinflation. 😂😂😂😂😂

I think that the fear mongering way you present your sponsor runs counter to your otherwise calm and collected videos, and I think you should reconsider how you present the segment.
We finally live here in New Zealand, Bye Lebanon.
why is there no segment about american military assets in the area?
Odd right
yea, please enlighten the mass about the US in the area.
You said the same in 2006.
No countries in the area can afford a war with israel. Israel has some of the most advanced military tech in the world, and one of the greatest militaries in the world.
Fun fact, when you spend decades doing appartide enforced by a military, and billions of dollars from america, you get to develop and test alot of weaponry
No nation around there could afford the equipment needed to go toe to toe with israel
Honestly I don't think this is in the hands of the Lebanese government, it is either in the hands of Hezbollah (and consequently Iran) or Israel, and the latter seems way too keen on war with it's threatening rhetoric. Both sides need to stop escalating this conflict
This isn't a "both sides" issue. Hezbollah started it- and Hezbollah can end it.
Israel has no choice, it can't continue for much longer with 80,000 Israeli civilians expelled from their homes and living in hotels for more than 5 months already. if diplomacy fails- there will be war.
And you think USA funding wars, in Israel and ukraine not forgetting the illegal immigration in USA, high inflation inside USA, can afford another war in middle east?
Remember, guys, a war with Israel doesn't just mean Israel but also America, so I dont think they could afford it given the only country that has tried it recently with their *3 day special military operation* 😂
Hesbula has literally fought Israel twice now in the last few decades, won once decisively, and fought them to a stalemate the second time. That's with all of Americas backing. I dont think anyone should have any illusions about Hesbula's ability to fight Israel, only the terrible consequences for the rest of Lebanon if they did. Which is why atm they seem like they very much dont want to
The IDF are terrorists. They only think of ways to brutalize the corpses of children and what music fits best for their genocide laden tiktoks. They'll escalate and possibly invade Lebanon as they've done on a dozen other occasions. The Lebanese will push back and win as they've done before.
@@WhichDoctor1Won once decisively?😂😂😂😂 When was that? Lebanon is a sh!thole bro, if any war was to happen, there wouldn't be a Lebanon to even talk about. An economy of 24B dollars that is diminishing instead of growing? Come on bro!

Evidently it didn't win either time. And if they declare war on Israel this time, there's a good chance that NATO just declares war on Hezbollah and just flattens them.
Delusional. NATO is not fighting for Israels genocides.

The hezbollah shia they don't pay taxes or customs on imports or water or electricity and yet they have the audacity of saying that they feel abandoned by the lebanese state.
Full of Bs.
Who in their right mind would go on holiday to Lebanon? 🤣
People of Lebanese background with family still there 🤷♂️
That's the thing. Lebanon isn't going to be the one fighting its hisbullah who has no money problem
They can't afford a war with hizballah neither
We could obviously we are prepared for any difficulties but does lebanon can withstand Israel clearly hope and if Israel forced to wage war for sure lebanon will turn to hell
I'm Israeli and I hope there will be no war between Israel and Lebanon. however, if there will be, I guarantee you that Lebanon will not stand as a country anymore after that.
I agree.
2006 you lost you will lose again
@@Dann1SP we will lose the war while millions of lebanonis will be homeless, beirut will be destroyed and the country will fall apart and look like Syria. I hope the people of Lebanon will love their life more then they hate us.

A war with who ?? Can’t have a war with a place that’s not even a country
Than which country is whooping the ass of palestinians
It's not Lebanon that's picking a fight with Israel though is it, so it's not up to them .. Not that Israel can afford to start a war with Lebanon either, their economy isn't doing so well.
I’m pretty sure Israel wanted the war, this is why they targeting deep Hezbollah HQ in Lebanon, to provoke them and give the Israel the reason to strike… this ain’t 2006 anymore, when the war between them ended in stalemate. After that, Lebanon economy collapsed while Israel becomes more powerful and richer.
Funny Lebanon doesn't have an economy it will collapse the first day.
I don't think it is fair that when you launch a strike and the strike gets intercepted, to than call it retaliation and escelate further. Its just another attack not a retaliation.
Edit: I feel like people are misunderstanding my comment. Im not talking about ALL attacks here, it is a war. I'm just saying that if someone shoots down your drone you're using to bomb them, then its not fair to call it a retaliation when you escalate futher, it is an extra follow-up attack cause your ego got hurt.
What? Since when Sending a warhead to another country doesn't considered as an attack?rell regardless of what' happened to the warhead. If Lebanon doesn't want war than they shouldn't attack Israel. If Israel won't retaliate than the Lebanese will see this as weakness and attack more. How misguided are you?
@@Niceguyhit47 since if the attacking person is antisemitic, and victim is a jew. Classic, Hamas and Palestinian terrorism excusing follows the same pattern.
