Funnily enough, your point at 7:51 reminds me of some experiments I had done a while ago with the Battle Memory in Mother 3. I was interested in how the game said the New Year's Eve Bomb's bio stated it could be a dud, so I got curious and tested it out on every enemy in that mode. It worked on _every_ minor enemy but almost no boss enemies. The bosses it did work on were the King Statue (the gimmick boss revolving that item) and the Cactus Wolf. The latter was odd in that it was much like the Fuzzipede in your situation; not only should he use his boss status to resist the attack, but access to that power/item can only be accessed in a future chapter, making it mostly a moot point. Just an interesting anecdote. Cool video, Stryder.

I imagine one of the fastest ways to complete Crash% would be to obtain Goompa and try to open the partner menu...at least, when you're not playing the JP version of Paper Mario. Otherwise, swap to him in a battle while it's your turn.

I can almost guarantee you the double coin glitch is caused by the mirror mechanic. I haven't played the game, but presumably, they have a playable mirror mario inside the mirror, as well as mirror coins. Even if they're not being displayed, they could be there, but hidden. When you collect the foreground coins, it's possible mirror Mario is collecting mirror coins.

I have a theory on two of those glitches. The extra damage you take with Watt might be because you take damage once while holding Watt, let go, then take damage again. For the coins, maybe because of how the mirror system worked in the castle there might be invisible coins on the mirror side that are collected while you collect the other coins? I feel like stryder could check that one
the thing with Fuzzipede may actually be because at one point they wanted it to be a regular enemy, they finished it but the decided to instead make it a miniboss, and forgot to remove the Up, Up, and Away percent off him (or ignored it), as in normal play you can't use it on him with him being a chapter 5 miniboss
7:21 As a CADD student what he was doing was he made the 2D Texture and object away from the main area I do this to when I have to add more of the same assets. I add and make them away from the main area and copy them then add the copies to the area as deemed necessary making that bush be what all bushes come from essentially making that the master bush. Sadly are dev did not remove the master bush after closing out on development resulting in this. That is why its far away but still lined up roughly to the stage.

I love how out of the way the broken bits in most of the older games are. Sure, now there's a giant lens over every bug in every game with a modding or speedrunning community that makes some bugs more known, but a lot of 'em require you to significantly deviate from normal play.

The fuzzipede thing is probably that 95% is a default unless the opponent is classified as a “boss”, so it’s probably not that they programmed him to be 95% effected, but instead forgot to program him as a “boss”
The coin glitch in the dungeon that uses mirrors where it adds 2 coins, it is MUCH more likely that they tried to program it to spawn coins in the foreground AND the "reflection" background, but forgot to mirror the placement of the coins correctly. It's not that it's adding twice, but that you're collecting two actual coins placed in the exact same position.
I found another typo! When you beat the Lava Piranha at the end of chapter 5, the End of Chapter screen reads "Venturing deep into the steamimg Mt. Lavalava, Mario and friends plucked the Lava Piranha..." but look really closely... "steaming" is misspelled.

Super Paper Mario wasn't that bad. It wasn't as good as the first game or TTYD, but I personally still enjoyed it. And there are no Paper Mario games after SPM. They don't exist.

You can skip the piranha plant fight in the jungle by starting the fight with bombette's bomb, which turns the mini boss into a normal enemy fight so you can run away
Re #3, that reminds me of how Exor is the only boss in Super Mario RPG that's not immune to Geno Whirl's timed hit. And he's not even a miniboss, he's one of the biggest fights in the game!

Re #3, that reminds me of how Exor is the only boss in Super Mario RPG that's not immune to Geno Whirl's timed hit. And he's not even a miniboss, he's one of the biggest fights in the game!
