I looked it up, and it seems that the reason Apagard isn't available in the US is because the patent for the active agents in the product was bought, then immediately removed from the shelves. I'm assuming this is because it worked too well and would drive other products out of business. Glad it's at least available on Amazon.
As someone from a major city I appreciate how clean and quiet the train station is. Also, I love how dark alleys are the best thing here. Go down an alley in Chicago and get robbed. Go down an alley in Japan and find a new restaurant or bar!

I 100% complain about the fact that we don't have pictures and/or at least menus outside of restaurants here ALL THE TIME! WHY CAN'T WE AT LEAST PUT OUT A MENU!?
I'm a picky eater, and sometimes I'm even afraid ordering something normal like a hamburger from a restaurant. Each place is different, and ok I know it might sound silly, but I go off of looks for food because it's faster determining whether or not the food would taste good. Like I'm chill with most food, but like tomatoes, mint, mayo, pork, coconut, certain cheeses, off the top of my head, I cant stand eating.
We're very lucky in the bay; as MOST places in San Francisco have their menus located outside. When I moved to the East Bay I was rather irritated that they didn't have them outside, and visiting home on the east coast? Good luck. Lol.
Rachel cracks me up.. i just have one question: Does Rachel crash and sleep for a week until she wakes to do another video? There's no way she has that much energy all the time!

Nexx 1 in japan, they have bidets in majority of their toilets and if for some unlucky reason that they dont, their toilets provide 2 types of toilet paper ( the normal and the eco- friendly one) in every stall To summarize, ya'll are missing out 😂😂😂

America’s public bathroom doors are soo horrible. you don’t even get a kid looking from underneath, they can see you from the 1inch side slits you guys have I felt more privacy doing it in the woods than a civilised toilet

I have no idea why America still does this when they could just raise the prices of the food or include a service charge in the receipt and take the hassle off of everyone involved.

I looked it up, and it seems that the reason Apagard isn't available in the US is because the patent for the active agents in the product was bought, then immediately removed from the shelves. I'm assuming this is because it worked too well and would drive other products out of business. Glad it's at least available on Amazon.
dont you juuust love capitalism......
As someone from a major city I appreciate how clean and quiet the train station is. Also, I love how dark alleys are the best thing here. Go down an alley in Chicago and get robbed. Go down an alley in Japan and find a new restaurant or bar!

The more you leave the US the more you realize that America is super different from the rest of the world.

exactly, especially for my group of friends if we cant see what they have on the menu its pretty discouraging to trying out new restaurants
Don't get me started on the high end places with menus with no prices
Yeah, I'm vegan so I want to know what's on the menu before I go!
AND THERE ARE RESTAURANTS WITHOUT PRICES LISTED!?
Good luck. Lol.

You can't forget the most important thing to consider:
- Decent People
Oh whatever in America we have decent people I cant believe you and all the other people from Japan don't have the kindness in your hearts to have true respect for anyone but yourself that's ridiculous ur just jealous we are free to do what we want and ur country is flawed
@@amoryhasafford7585 I'm from Vietnam, but your racist heart doesn't have the respect to look that up, and I'm also a US citizen, since my father is a citizen before I was born. I am not jealous of your playground of guns, but instead looking at people like you who thinks freedom of speech means you can say anything you want without knowing that freedom of speech doesn't come with a freedom of consequences.
I've been living in the US for almost my entire life, before I was even enrolled in school, and attending a Civics class that focuses on US laws and government. You really need to know that you aren't being kind, nor respectful, which makes you an absolute hypocrite that can't use basic grammar to start a fight on the internet. Next time, don't be such a hypocrite that it supports what I just said; "Decent people."
Phong Huynh I am actually truly sorry I didn't understand fully what you where saying I thought u meant people in america are always rude which isn't true instead of a lot of people in America are violent which is true let's be honest I am sorry if I offended you and I hope you except my apology and also I do not agree with people having guns if it isn't necessary or if it is like not a hand gun I think we can't get rid of every bad person so for now we just gotta live with it one more thing if anything I love Asian people black people and any other race I come by but that doesn't mean I can't have my opinion about one person that has affected the way I see people I love alllllll races
@@_phong.huynh_ please, you don't go out enough to meet decent people. Stop wasting your time on the people who don't appreciate you.
I met tons of decent people of many races. It's the Vietnamese I experienced the most racism.

Nexx 1 in japan, they have bidets in majority of their toilets and if for some unlucky reason that they dont, their toilets provide 2 types of toilet paper ( the normal and the eco- friendly one) in every stall
To summarize, ya'll are missing out 😂😂😂
Gabrielle Uy American toilets don't have bidets but most have at least 2 rolls(they're both normal though), it just depends on how crowded the place is or how often they replace them

*No tipping in Japan* 👍
AMERICA
LEARN FROM THIS
Rachel and Jun it's because in America their paid minimum wage and that's no were near enough to live off of so they rely on people tipping them
I actually worked as a waitress for a while so I know, physically and spiritually, the pain of having to try to entertain people as an awkward af teen to make up for the rest of my wages.
One of the main reasons why tipping should be banned. In addition, I feel that there's one thing that America also needs from Japan that should be a big thing, GUN CONTROL LAWS!
I have no idea why America still does this when they could just raise the prices of the food or include a service charge in the receipt and take the hassle off of everyone involved.
Just imagine accidentally peeing or pooping on that soft toilet seat.

Paradoxical Nightmare lol seriously using bidets are cleaner. The best thing
How horrified could he have been... most of the outlying areas in Egypt don't have plumbing. In addition, its one of the poorest countries in the world whose people regularly go days without bathing. Perhaps the horror was misplaced?
Bidets are cleaner but you need to clean them after use so its sanitary, if possible with bleach or products that clean it profusely because poop and pee. And almost NO ONE DOES THAT??? They just let water run????
At least in Argentina that's what I saw and know of, unless you are in a hotel, motel or hospital.

Its actually completely different as what African American women did/ have been doing is SOOO bad for your hair. Watch her original video as she describes the differences.
@@bumblebeehappy Bees I understand that it's different since I'm a black girl living in Japan. But she acts like the concept of straightening perm is an entirely new construct only found in Japan. And in her follow up video where she mentions relaxers, it seems like she still didn't understand what it is, since she said they weren't permanent. I'm just amazed by white Americans' complete obliviousness of African American culture. We've been in America for hundreds of years. I get really interesting questions from Japanese people that shock me, but I'm sure I'm the first black person they have ever met. I have nothing against Rachel. This page helped me adjust to life in Japan. I just find it amusing. That's why I said "chuckles in black girl"
@@Nisha_Chantel it's possible she grew up in an area where she wasn't exposed to black culture.
