The Stunning Birdsville Route 11th June 2022

We got up for an early start to get to Mt Dare and refuel before heading to Dalhousie Springs and the Simpson Desert Track East.
Dahousie Springs was awesome, once we realised that the water temperature was around 35degC it was worth getting cold when you got out. Bruce got bogged late in the afternoon trying to get up on top of a dune, and we set up the first nights camp on the Simpson Desert Track not far away.
